Yeah the hats are abysmal. I bought two and neither fit well at all, one literally looked like i was wearing a train conductor hat on my head. I pay extra attention to the brands now and the last couple hats I bought were '47 brand and Adidas. Sucks now that Fanatics will become even more prevalent now.

Something interesting is our heritage 2.0 jerseys are slightly different shades. I have 2 different team issued ones and the blue is ever so slightly different.

I also bought a Kreider gamer today in other news.

Since we're talking about acquisitions, I picked up 3 game used jerseys during my short visit to New York this weekend.

Oh, I purchased these over the last few weeks but had them shipped to my fiancée's parents to save on shipping (and ridiculous custom fees).

I was in New York for a couple days to do some pre-wedding stuff. Apply for the marriage license, open a shared bank account (I am not a Chase card holder, so I get all the discounts at MSG haha), ring shopping etc.

I got back to Dublin this morning.

I never attended the games so I wasn't looking for a game used jersey of those games per se, but one showed up in a collectors group on Facebook a few days ago so I decided to treat myself. I start a new job next week that includes a nice signing bonus, so I may as well get myself something pretty :laugh:

These type of game used jerseys rarely show up but with Kane on the Rangers a lot of collectors are trying to free up funds to buy a Kane gamer. The Kane Rangers game used jerseys sell for 11k, by the way. Absolute insanity.

Is it the ticker mesh or the thinner CCM 550 type material?

It’s not mesh- it’s actually the thickest material of all my jerseys. Like a Reebok 2.0 but more robust. I’m not 100% on if it’s ultrafil or not.
