I'm less curious about the quality of the authenticity and more about the history behind their issuance. It looks almost as if it was sold as a souvenir specifically for Wayne's last season. The set 2 patch was kind of interesting and I'd never come across something like that before. I'm wondering if these were replicas sold by the team as some kind of commemorative souvenir.

No, they're just another variance of knockoffs albeit better quality than you normally see. They exist in liberty versions as well.

Fake Meigray set tags are also out there in various knockoffs.

If anyone is curious about Rangers jerseys or just wants to see collections I highly reccomend joining "New York Rangers Game Used Jerseys" and "New York Rangers Game Used Collectors Corner" on Facebook. Lots of great information is shared there.

Don't know where else to post this. Does anyone where I can find a digital image of the logo used on this puck?

What's your most impulsive Rangers playoffs jersey purchase?

I was walking to lunch one day in 2017 and got an ebay notification that Brad Richards 2014 conference final home jersey was listed. $460 buy it now... I bought it as crossed varick street on my way to chipotle.

Beyond that Henrik's 2014 conference final home jersey was listed on Meigray for $10K for quite sometime on consignment. Originally it sold for 30K based off what I remember from the old Steiner jersey lots. I always kept an eye on things and one day the consigner slashed all the prices in half and I picked it up for $5K.

I still think about that day, roses beer in hand on the LIRR charging $5K to my amex. Then curating a firesale of my other jerseys to try and offset this purchase.

Before a late spring game in 2012 the wife and I paid a visit to Cosby's and hanging from the ceiling was an authentic, size 46 (my size) Winter Classic jersey. I couldn't believe it as these were very hard to find back then as the Jersey Baron didn't have them available. I grabbed it and had them customize it as a Brad Richards- $500 in 1 fell swoop. Worth it.

The Richards was the game used conf final home?

From what I've seen with game used jerseys, they often fall in price over time(not sure as much about premium players like Hank). You can scoop up some pretty cool game used jerseys for reasonable prices if you wait a while. That's why I try to avoid impulse purchases. If you watch the auctions for game used jerseys for current players they're always insane and then several seasons after they're gone, if you can find them, price will be a slim % of what it sold for originally?

Do you guys ever wear those jerseys or strictly for cave related purposes?

Yeah the Richards was used in the conference final and has an nice mark on the white hem on the back that i matched to the celebration after Marty's game 4 OT winner.

In terms of wearing gamers it really depends on the player/value of the jersey for me. I'm a big guy so i have no trouble fitting into a size 56 or 58 game jersey without it swimming on me. I would never wear one of my Hank jerseys due to the extreme cost/value of them. But I had no trouble over years wearing Zuc, Fast, Klein, Stepan, Grabner, etc gamers to MSG or road games.

Makes sense and that is an insane price for a game used CF jersey from a relatively marquee player.

I have never bought a new jersey during the playoffs.... Always waited for the summer clearance sales.... But lately they have been terrible.

Best place to have a sweater stripped and re-done? Guessing AW but they’ll be backed up so I’ll probably just wait until summer.

I have a white Leetch game worn with a signature. It’s unfortunately not in the best shape as far as preserving the signature but… if anyone is interested, depending on the price, some extra cash for these new parent days would be helpful. Wife finally stopped working a couple of weeks ago so we’re on one salary (but thankfully I finally found a good job and am doing well, just hard for anyone to make good on a single salary these days) but the baby is going to be here like… within the next 7 days.

Or if anyone wants to pick up a size 50 Zib home with the A. Definitely kept in perfect shape. Or a blank 46 home. Adidas.

Can you post some pictures of them? Best of luck btw.

Any impulsive #10 jersey purchases tonight?

Congrats! Babies are the greatest gift. Love that baby with everything you have. And every time your baby looks at you smile. Trust me. They'll grow up happier.

I miss my kids being like that LOL. Now they're all grown and sometimes just don't want anything to do with my wife and I. They do their own thing. Babies are so 100% in need of you, it's a fun time, not easy, but it's the best. And you're going to be amazed at how fast time goes when you're a parent. You literally blink and they're grown.

Thanks. We can’t wait. Any day now, literally. My guess is the 20th.

So, I pointed out the other night in the Game 1 GDT after we lost in OT that I had literally just ordered a Lindgren jersey like 2 days or so before the game. I wanted to make sure you guys realized I wasn't just kidding. This came from HockeyAuthentic.

Arrived today. I have . . . incredible (?) . . . timing.

ALSO, the PrimeGreen jerseys run quite slim as others have said. I normally wear a 54/56 (54 tighter, 56 a much looser look). This 60 is really the equivalent of a 56.

So size up one full size. I didn't originally believe the statements how small these jerseys are, but my goodness. The slim cut is really crazy compared even to the RBK jerseys and, as said, LAST year's Adidas jerseys.
