Dual-patched jerseys are a rarity and more interesting to collect.

What's weird is that the Gilbert patch was on the left shoulder when all of their other patches are typically on the right shoulder so it would have worked out in that sense. But I guess the reasoning is as stated above, it's Hank's big day and they didn't want to take away from it with a memorial patch as well.

The Hank night jerseys are almost sold out if they aren't already. When I was on the phone with my rep, all that was left were guys that will probably be scratched tomorrow and 4th liners.

There's been a HUGE inflation in the prices for game worn jerseys lately and it kinda sucks the fun out of collecting.
Imagine paying $2250 for Patrik Nemeth's jersey from Lundqvist retirement night. That's the type of price you'd see a few years ago for a McDavid/Crosby jersey. It's absolutely insane.

That’s pretty much been the going rate for these jerseys for the Rangers based on the past few retirement nights. I was hoping it’d be a little cheaper but the prices are also about what I expected. Generally, jerseys will always sell for more through primary market than what they’ll eventually sell for on the secondary with a few exceptions so it depends on how bad you need something specific in terms of whether you suck it up and buy.

I have a Hadfield retirement night jersey which I got for 375. That's acceptable. Those didn't go for 2250. Even the 25th anniversary jerseys weren't that insane. We're talking about 4th liners here.

I just looked up the Hadfield night sale, everything was at least 1K (8 guys over 2K by my count) which was cheaper than Ratelle where I think the cheapest was $1,500+. You probably got the Hadfield night when Fanatics bought out Steiner and blew out the inventory left over to dump it all but original pricing through Steiner was 1K and up for all of those jerseys. 94 night didn't have the patch which is why those were on the cheaper side, just the fight strap set stamp.
It's outrageous I agree but they pretty much sold all within 15 minutes or so today. And I'm sure the warmups will do an insane numbers whenever those get listed. People love Henrik.
It is and it isn’t….people always forget how affluent the NY metropolitan area is and for those living in a $5 million house in Scarsdale or Rye, what’s a few grand for a really nice souvenir.

The Rangers stuff has exploded in recent years because of the client list that Steiner/Fanatics built up. There's multiple multi millionares that have no issue buying a 5K Fox jersey and wearing to to MSG on a random Thursday night. If this team ever gets back to the cup final the prices are going to be something else.

They open the MSG Store at 10 AM tomorrow so I expect it all to be sold out in minutes and end up on ebay for 3-4 times the price.
However, the stores inside MSG in the higher levels may have stock for those entering early. I will check for you but The earliest I’m walking into the Garden is 6. Maybe someone is walking in right at 5 when doors open.

Yeah, I have family commitments that outweigh this game so I won't be flying to NY today as I had previously planned.
Worth it though, it's my niece's Christening.
So annoyed. Was looking to pick up the Henrik jersey patch at the store today. Got to MSG at 5 but the lines were so long that they sold out by the time I got to the cashier. I wish there was somewhere else selling them at MSRP and not the huge mark up on eBay. Also bummed that they didn’t have any 30 banners in felt like they had done in the past. Only the cheap free ones they handed out.
