I’m still sitting with this almost a year later because they’re ignoring my calls & messages. Law enforcement is getting involved

That's just bizarre. Granted, I'm going with a Shesterkin jersey, which doesn't have that kind of small/big letter nuance. But that type of customer service, or lack thereof, is frustrating.

why wouldn't you just mail it back to them and dispute the charges

Would love to find an original River Vale Skeeters jersey, which they stole from the blackhawks - which further proves how dumb and disingenuous the Devils 3rd jersey is

Haven’t bought a jersey in a long time, what’re the best places to get authentic jerseys these days? Don’t really want to order one from Fanatics.

Definitely skip Fanatics.....
For sure - I checked all my old go to's and am at a slight dead end.

Jersey Baron doesn't have any of the newer jerseys except for overpriced retros
Icejerseys is out of authentic away jerseys
Coolhockey has them but I've had mixed experience with them in the past and don't know if I should order from there
Sportsk doesn't have my size

If you want to go about it the right way, and have the proper stitching, it takes some time and effort but:

Step 1: Buy a blank jersey through Coolhockey
Step 2: Send it to Arenawear to have it customized

If you're looking for an on ice authentic make sure whatever you buy is made in Canada not Indonesia (Reebok/Adidas Styles)

Adidas MIC jerseys are only found by buying a game used or team issued and doing the work to strip/recustomize

I own a couple game-used jerseys and side-by-side comparisons, it's a world of difference.

It's absolutely ridiculous that Adidas labels what they sell to the public as "authentic". Maybe I will do a side-to-side comparison with photos if anyone is interested.

It's hilariously bad. At least the Reebok "Indo Edge" Authentics were a step up from the Premier jerseys that Reebok sold. The Adidas ones are a perfect example of a company taking the easy/cheap way out while misleading the public.

Top: Game worn authentic

Bottom: Retail "authentic"

As y0u can see, there's a significant difference with the dimple-pattern on the shoulders. The fabric is a lot thicker as well. Game worn jerseys are made in Canada, retail jerseys are made in Indonesia.

Oddly enough, the text inside the collar seems to have more detail on the retail jerseys.

Another photo to show the dimple pattern. On the top jersey on the right you can see a square mark which is from the tracking chips NHL players have sewn into the jersey. The tracking chip is removed before the jerseys are auctioned off/sold by Fanatics.

This used to be my go to method so it looks like that’s the route I’m gonna take.

My brother in law just used Arenawear and the turnaround was crazy fast. He sent it to them Monday, They received the jersey Wednesday morning, and he got it back in the mail today.
