IMO, this is arguably the 1st/only time that Werenski has actually played like a true #1D and a legitimate Norris candidate.

The same issue question exists, as it has for years. WHO to play with him??

I haven’t really seen enough to make a real evaluation.

He certainly doesn’t look like a “top pairing” 25 minute defenseman.

Leads the league in TOI/game, T-1 among Dmen in even-strength goals, 3rd among Dmen in points.
