Imagine what his numbers might look like if he can stay healthy and have an offense that has more than one player reaching 50 points in a season! It's been a real treat to have him healthy for most of the season.
And a competent power play!

Matt Roy?Offense isn’t Werenski’s problem.
We need a partner to play with him on the top pair.
I would be very shocked if the Kings let him go. But VERY YES.Matt Roy?

I was kind of hoping/figuring those guys would be mostly going after Pesce. If they don't, I'd hope we would.Kings fans here seemed to be thinking they had little chance of keeping him - and they want space for Spence or Clarke in the top 4.
I think our bigger obstacle might be that there are many teams looking for a good RD - especially clubs in a similar position to us like Buffalo and Ottawa. There's a ton of cap space available and several clubs happy to overpay Roy.

And I'd have thought Roy would still be a major priority for the Kings.
Legit don't know, I've just always loved his work regardless and so my desire might be a reputation based one.I added some thoughts on Pesce to that post.
I'm not sure what you'd get with Pesce, is he too dinged up at this point to give him a long term deal?
DeMelo has frankly completely flown under my radar, but if you say he's doing well and would be a good get, I'm willing to trust that assessment.
man does he look good this season, i feel like he will def hit 60 pts this year. i may be optomistic but wondering what yall think
I agree with you that Provorov isn’t the guy.As others/essentially everyone has noticed, he DOES look great this year. His improvement in his acceleration/skating is clearly the biggest impact/factor in this, as he’s really never had many issues with his game, other than this, IMO.
Another aspect that’s always been missing in his game is intensity. While I don’t need him to play reckless, with the amount of minutes he plays, I would like him to be a bit more “mean”, BEFORE someone takes liberties or a cheap shot on him.
Our REAL issue is who to play all these minutes with him. With Werenski’s improved skating, Provorov definitely isn’t it, as I believe skating is actually his greatest asset. He’s not a “good” or “top pairing” defenseman. I believe there’s probably some “showcasing” going on with him, but, this isn’t the way.
Severson is probably still our best option, on the current roster. Maybe Christiansen, actually. The problem is like Provorov, neither guy actually deserves or should see the amount of icetime Werenski does deserve or will get.
How it’s not Werenski-Mateychuk right now I don’t understand. Give that pairing/Denton the 10 games. Instead of seeing if the team can “compete” without Mateychuk for the start of the season. Not only is he a SMARTER defender than essentially every other defenseman, he’s shown his ability to absolutely add to the offense, to a team that is showing they need help in that regard.
If that happens he’ll be our 4th best defensemen. He's UFA after this season, of course Provorov will have a career year

Not opposed to the idea but interesting thread for this discussionProvorov is 27. If he plays good I think it would be good to resign him. Defense is basic.
