Reimer giving up 4 goals in 1 period is kind of scary. We only have 3 days until the season starts, we can't have this kind of goaltending. Since Scrivens has played all year I would be more comfortable going with him to start the year. Reimer has to prove himself again.

A couple of them were deflections as per the media, some it's hard to judge him based on just the numbers game.

Like Carey Price said after looking like a pee-wee last year in pre-season: "Chill. Relax."

I got this for the season:

Lupul-Bozak-Kessel
JVR-Grabbo-Kulemin
MacArthur-Kadri-Frattin (kadri/Frattin play well together in the A and Mac is a solid enough vet to help them at both ends)
Lombardi-Mcclement-Connolly (strict defensive type of unit)

No sandpaper however :/

Again, too many forwards. Steckal, Brown and Komarov should probably be in the NHL somewhere no?

My take would be

Lupul Bozak Kessel

MacArthur Grabovski Kulemin

JVR - McClement - Connolly

Komarov Steckel Brown/Orr

I personally see the forward line up going along this route;

Lupul - Bozak - Kessel
JVR - Grabovski - Kulemin
Kadri - Connolly - Macarthur
Komorov - McClement - Brown

Left Out: Frattin, Orr, Lombardi, Steckle

If Connolly does enough in camp to play a simple game, Carlyle will give him the chance to redeem himself from last season. He plays a decent two way game, is solid on the PK and consistantly blocks shots.

true but 4 goals is 4 goals..in one period. I look forward to seeing the highlights later on tonight.

I see what you're saying, but Reimer need's to start. He's slotted to be the guy as of right now. He hasn't played in a while, and the only way to know if he's the real deal or not is to have him starting right out the gate. If he stumbles, you've got a mid season Scrivens waiting to take over. But in my opinion, you have to show him the confidence and trust to give him the pipes in Montreal. Get him on a roll and start it early, because if not confidence just doesn't build itself back up within a week. Look at what happened to Gus.

If i'm not mistaken, the MCC doesnt have an NHL sized ice surface. So this is just standard beer league size :p (Objects in mirror may be closer then they appear).

MCC - 200' x 85' and 200' x 98'
ACC - 200' x 85'
Canlan Ice Sports York - 200' x 100' and (5)200' x 85'

Not sure where you get "beer league" size from. Unless this is a sarcastic post and I missed it.

Unreal... Absolutely amateur hour with the camera.

I guess it's training camp for everyone....

ZOOM! OUT!

Kessel is dancing out there. Komarov just missed a 2-on-1 pass from Frattin. #Leafs

I love that Dallas Eakins is the coach for one of the teams. It's nice to see dialogue and teamwork between him and Carlyle, and not a "this is MY team" attitude from Carlyle.

I think this team needs orr. We won the season serries against Boston 4-2 when he was on the team. Last year we got swept.

Orr only played in three of the six games against Boston that season (he was out with a concussion for the other three), and we lost two of them when he was on the ice.

Been watching for about 10 minutes and haven't seen Kadri on the ice for a shift yet. He was out for a face off but then got called back to the bench before the puck was dropped. Weird. I've seen Kessel line 3 times now.
Oh there he is. nevermind.

What if the Deschamps-Aucoin-D'Amigo line is the best during the scrimmage today? They look good. #Leafs
