Guy who tweeted it is a Quinnipiac alum, or so he says. So maybe, someone was upset he stole the mystery??

Guess we’ll see tomorrow.

Going to be interesting. While I’ve liked what I’ve read from her, I’ve been curious how much true insider info she has. Guys like Luke and Chip rarely, if ever broke info so would be cool to have someone who does have that info.
That was in the previous regime right? This one seems to be a little more media savvy, which probably includes “reading them in” on certain things with the promise of anticipatory, but not quite confirmatory, columns.

If you were Don Waddell or some other male in the org, would you rather talk to her or 45/65 year old men?

Will be interesting to see what happens. Don't know why it was deleted, but here is the first tweet confirming he signed. I didn't get the follow-up apparently.

I've been on the board for awhile now but I can't figure out where the Lightning fans love of TVR comes from. Can someone help a brotha out?

I can't remember all the details, but it was a preseason game where somebody on our side predicted he'd score, then he scored the winning goal or some such. It really all came from one meaningless preseason game.

Yeah there was a preseason game where he and that dude from the KHL (Cajkovski?) that was in Charlotte for half the season just played out of their minds when paired together last year.

It was from Dominic Bolts Fan. He talked about how good TVR was and that TB should trade Tyler Johnson for him. The rest of the Lightning fans started having fun with that and then he scored in the preseason game which pushed it over the top.

Proposal: - TVR for Tyler Johnson

I know we’re unlikely to swing such a big, salary heavy deal, and Laine is maybe not the player we’d pick in a fantasy scenario. But a Laine-Aho-Svech line could elevate this team for a decade.

This is one of those opportunities.

If this is the kind of situation where Winnipeg want to restock the prospects cupboard in a big way, where 1-2 serious prospects and some salary going the other way (Faulk or Hamilton, Reimer) gets the job done, then maybe. But I don't see how we could swing it.

Disclaimer-I highly doubt the Canes make anymore moves, outside of a Williams re-signing and/or a minor trade of an RFA like Mckeown.

But...WPG needs RD, CAR now has even more excess. It’d be nice to see the braintrust take advantage of that and turn a TVR into a Roslovic or Hamilton into Ehlers. Would not happen without additional moves to clear out some room up front too. Far too many moving parts this late in the off-season, but WPG is in a very interesting position with 2 RFAs still not signed and still really needing to shore up their blueline.

Anyway, the “CAR is looking to deal a RHD...” rumors aren’t going anywhere unfortunately.

Hard to guess what that would even look like due to salary constraints.

Faulk + Niederreiter + Necas?
Hamilton + Nino + 1st?
Pesce + Reimer + multiple picks/prospects?

I'd guess the Canes would say "you have to take an Aho deal" which may be amenable to Laine.

Remember his draft lottery interview. That boy interviews weirdly.

Also, he's not lying you know. Barring an NTC, you *don't* know for sure where you will play next week.

Plus, I believe Patrik is currently not paid to do PR for Winnipeg.

I mean like, isn't the reporter really milking for a reportable comment or what? I don't like these "speak to me the words I want and ask for, you trained monkey" interview questions.

That's pretty much what they do.
There's questions, and then there's scripted interviews where the question really leaves room only for a certain specific expected answer.

Good boy Patrik not playing that game.
