Nope, I'm saying let's see how he's doing before the playoffs, when guys are sick or injured. If he plays well, then we know he can come in. I actually think Stanley has played well, and I think Capo is ready, and probably better than Stan.ok that's good and all. do you think that's enough to have him as playing regular mins in the POs? ditto for Lambert? who are either starting over in the regular line-up.
I think Stanley has been fine as a 7D, i also don't know what that has to do with anything and didn't mention him at all? i don't anticipate him starting in the POs w/ a regular line-up. if you mean Heinola being a PB guy, sure. the OP i responded to was in relation to trades which would strike me as augmenting the 12F 6D, but i def. could have misinterpreted that.
true but his cap hit was 6M thenMonahan was dumped with a first attached to him a couple years ago and we paid a first to get him lol things can change
I heavily doubt Van is shopping Lindholm. That makes zero sense.Love how we've gone from monahan for a 1st is a terrible overpay to Chevy is doing nothing while everyone else trades for guys
I don't see sean walker moving the needle in Colorado... henrique is the opposite of what edmonton needs... van shopping lindholm already - that will go over great in the locker room.. mantha is not changing a thing in Vegas but they'll prob land guentzel...
Dallas is good because they stick to their system - which we really should do too
Lots of talent out there and prices are going down not up...
but If we do nothing and call up Capo and get lambert/mcgro some games - I'm fine with that too.
He was definitely not on waivers. lol. He's a really good playerWasn't he on waivers last year, I mean he is okay but he is not worth a first
What do you think it would cost? Would Montreal's 2nd and Lucius get it done?I've been on Vatrano for the last little while comes with another year but will cost plenty, he is exactly what this team needs
Henrique was on waivers on Feb 20th, 2021.I heavily doubt Van is shopping Lindholm. That makes zero sense.

You might have to throw in Perfetti instead of LuciusWhat do you think it would cost? Would Montreal's 2nd and Lucius get it done?
Agreed. Deadline deals generally don't amount to much.... although I'd say Monahan is the best acquisition so far.Love how we've gone from monahan for a 1st is a terrible overpay to Chevy is doing nothing while everyone else trades for guys

For Vatrano? That would be highway robbery by Anaheim. You might have to throw in Perfetti instead of Lucius
Almost 30 goals, pk's, pp's and plays with bite says it's notFor Vatrano? That would be highway robbery by Anaheim.

id be hard-pressed to give up Perfeti for another fwd that doesn't play C.You might have to throw in Perfetti instead of Lucius
He is not a rentalI don't see it. He'll get a 1st tops, just look at what the other wingers are going for.
Ya that's exactly what you want in the playoffs but Perfetti is a steep price.Almost 30 goals, pk's, pp's and plays with bite says it's not
You have to give to get , he is exactly the kind of player Jets could use this year in the playoffs and you get him for next year, if he doesn't extend you flip him for a 1st at next years deadlineYa that's exactly what you want in the playoffs but Perfetti is a steep price.
you'd really have to known Perfetti is close is-what-he-is than some gaudy potential making that move imo.You have to give to get , he is exactly the kind of player Jets could use this year in the playoffs and you get him for next year, if he doesn't extend you flip him for a 1st at next years deadline
I find it odd how many adamantly refuse to part with Perfetti based on potential and just as many have already wrote off Bowen Byrum. Would be funny if they were the same person.
It's entirely possible that Chevy gets left on the dance floor just might not be able to get the player he wants for one reason or another
He is not a rental
He's having his first good season at 29. I keep reading that he plays with bite here and here alone, I've never seen that from him and I've been following him for years. He has a fantastic shot and knows how to get open. Dumb as rocks otherwise, no playmaking to speak of. He's Brendan Pirri given a top line opportunity. You don't pay a top young player in the league plus a high 2nd for that.Almost 30 goals, pk's, pp's and plays with bite says it's not.

8 year contracts, and handing out NTC/NMC like candy are the two worst things imo.Yeah, the NHLPA will never let it happen but the NHL needs to either limit the number of NTCs a team can have or just make them full no movement — no waiving, no limited number of teams. Otherwise markets like Winnipeg will always, always get shafted.

He is pretty damn close to a rental with only an additional year of term left. That isn't worth a top young player.
5 years of control of a top young asset vs. 1 year of control. That's not even close.
Also he's not at all what we need. He's another one dimensional offensive winger that can't play defense. We already have a better version of him in KC.
That's your opinions and you're welcome to them, I have watched him play many time this year and I see him differentlyHe's having his first good season at 29. Most versatile player out there is Buchnevich... only guy that I'd give up something big forHe is pretty damn close to a rental with only an additional year of term left. That isn't worth a top young player.
