Not sure if he wants to leave school for the NHL ...but Quinnipiac Jr. Year player Colin Graf woukd be one of the top free agents from NCAA hockey of hecdrcidrsctp turnn pto after this season..he put up impressive numbers last season as a sophomore but is off to an even better pace this season at 2 points per game average...

The RW is 6'1 194lbs...

“I’ve been watching their games and the Hawks games when I have time,” Nazar said. “I saw a four-point night (by Bedard). That was really impressive. To be able to do that, that chip play he made through (Nikita) Kucherov’s legs was pretty sick. I’d be freaking out after. I think it’s nice to see the young guys coming out and scoring some goals. Like Korchinski got his first, that was really cool, especially on mom’s weekend. That was nice. I think it’s just really cool to see guys that I’m kind of close to in age doing well and doing their thing. I’m excited to see how those guys do the rest of the season.”

Doesn't really drive a line. Complimentary player. Sort of vanilla. Knows where to be, good shot. Good hands, sneaky good passer. If he makes it I think it will take a while.

Does Nazar make the jump and get some NHL games at the end of the year?
As of now, yes. But there's still plenty of hockey to be played. He's a shoo-in for Team USA at the World Juniors in about 6 weeks. Then there's the remainder of the regular season and the conference tournament in a more competitive Big 10. Michigan may find that it's placement in the NCAA tourney is not conducive to a long run. So it could be more than some games.

If any or all of Brindley, McGroarty, and Casey turn pro, I'd have to wonder if there's any reason for Nazar to stay another year.
