But remember thevgoak us to Tank...Kaiser is too goid (actualky looks like a competent D)...cannotvjeooardize the Tank goal with such competency i the lineup.. Play Mitchell...give him kitscofvmonutes and akso S Jones ..give him lots of minutes. .hevisxright back to not showing much defending competence(he had a vriefcspan ofca few weeks lokingvmuch better...butvlateky back to his old tricks...failing to pin and take pucksvoff his checks...unaware of where koise oucksxare.. and really bad at pucks in scrambles at tge crease...out of position...getting caught and a litany of incompetence...hecischavingvaxworsecoffenseive yeah than last season so hoscdefensive flaws stick out even more.

IMO,he just Jackson instinct to be a reliable dman.. He should ne moved to forward to take advantage of his athleticism
. Let him justxattack and create havoc.. sitting back watching hom try to defend onslaught attacks i our own zone is painful..He justcfaiksxtoi much in rgecd-zone....butvI think he coukd be a better forwards than at lesstc10 of our current forwards who are garbage.

Not surprised he’s going back. He had a bad year. Saw some of his games on NBC. He played the same way but just didn’t produce this year. Not worried.

Agreed. I saw no difference in how he played in the U20's and his previous years at ND.

Seattle beat Kelowna 3-2 lst night...Korchinski 2a +2 ,5 shots on goal...Colton Dach 1a +1 5 shots on goal...Nolan Allan no points,Even ...

Jaylen Luypen 1 g (empty net) 1a +1 in 6-4 win by Tri-City City over Prince George..

Bedard watch: 2g 1a 5 shots on goal in Regina 6-1 beat down over Saskatoon..

So playoffs off to good starts for these players..

In OHL playoffs:

Flint lost by 4-1 to Saginaw last night to go down 0-2 in their first round playoff series with them(Flint lostv7-1on Thursday night)..In the game last night Gavin Hayes went pointless and was -1 with only 2 shots on goal..He was pointless with just 1 shot on goal on Thursday's loss also but was
Even in that game despite the lopsided score.

So not a very good playoff so far for Hayes and his team...

Sarnia won Game 1 of its first round playoff series with the Soo Greyhounds 5-0...Ethan Del Mastro pointless Even 3 shots on goal.

In the QMJHL playoffs:

Gatineau took Game1 of its series with Saint John by a big 7-1 score...No points,Even, 2 shots on goal for Sam Savoie ...

Around 24:15 mark is the interview with Dach, Korchinski and Allan. Near the end they talk about Bedard. I really, really hope the Hawks get him.

Ethan DelMastro just took a 17 minute hiatus from the Sarnia game vs.Gueloh this afternoon...Game was tied 2-2 ..DelMastri had 1 a and was +1 upto time he went off for instiigatating a fight (this was ihalf way in 2nd period..)...so he is not back in the game till 7 minutes into 3rd period.. His instigator +5 for fighting and a 10 min misconduct came whike his Sarnia team just got a PP...but his reaction penalties which made it 4x4 negating their PP,was depending on your view either stupid (as it strategically hurt his team because they lost the man advantage AND hurt them because they already had a key Dman ejected earlier)...OR it was necessary it tryingvtovstio Guelohbtaking liberties on questionable late hits or some of the Sarnia star okayers. TY VOIT had just been hit late by a Guelph get under your skin type s**t disturber...and this after several previous incidents ...when refs failed to call the late hit on the Guelph player who did the deed,Del Mastro blew his fuse and had had enough. .so he goes after the little pest and beats the crap out of him...Butvthe price is hevis off the ice forc17 minutes his team is unable to use him.As he goes off to the dressing room,he gestures to the Sarnia home fans to whip up emotion to sour his team on...I have never seen him this irate ...this worked up with emotion before...so you could say he lost his cool ...or you could say this resoibse had to be done and it shows leadership...
It did work to spur on his tean because they scored the go ahead goal to lead 3-2...But more Sarnia d-men kept taking penalties...and with 2 key dmen unavailable and other key dmen in the p-box,Guelph tied up the game 3-3 heading into 3rd period now.
Playoff hockey becomes intense ...players can blow fuses...Sarnia has a lot more talent than Guelph...but if Guelph gets under your skin and goals Sarnia into retaliating, they win by taking off key Sarnia stars who just lose their cool .

When Del Mastro came back into the game after nearly 8 minutes in periodc3,Guelph had scored 2cgoals to Sarnia 1 in his absence ..So Guelph leads 4-3...

Del Mastro just made a world class play with the puck taking it accross the top of the o-zone from left to right side in a high circle then a power move rightvl to the net as he left checkers in the dust ..but Sarnia could not finish at the crease as they jamed in..

Sarnia wins it in OT...Fibak score 5-4.
SO del Mastro's team up 2-0 in the series...headed on the road to Guelph for 2 games..
Guelph put a scare into them today....interesting checking...physical and chippy ...goaded them into retaliation penalties Sarnia breezed through OHL after trade deadline deals augmemted them with DelMastro and Del Bellballuz and others they picked up earlier...but this game showed that a plucky team willing to wor bhard on the checking and playing them physical can challenge such a dynamic offensive team that has more firepower..

I suspect tge Sarnia coach will demand harder effort from his team to match the Guelph intensity for gamex3 of the series in Guelph...put the hammer down on the series/ do not let them off the mats etc.
