Interesting what happened last night with the USNTDP u17 and u18 squads..
U17s list 7-4 to Muskegon in USHL play ..
But Cole Eiserman and James Hagensctgeirc2 star pkayers were not in the U17s lineup.
They wee bolstering thevu18s squad in the exhibition game vs.Lindwoid Colkege (NCAA Div1) which the enhancexvu18s squad won by 12-4.
Eiserman had 3 goals.. Hagens has 3 a ..both wre +2
For the u18s regulars their star players also starred:
WILL Smith 2g 1a +3
Ryan Leonard 2g +3
Gabe Perrault 1g 1a +2
Oliver Moore 1g 3a +2
If Eiserman and Hagens added to the u18s squad added to Team USA WorkdcU18 Championships this spring joining Smith,Leonard,Perreaukt and Moore then that bolsterd u18 squad will surely win zgold and dominatec that tournament.. Tgeybprovablyvwoukdchavecanywayceven without Eisernan and Hagens..but now there is simply such depth of forwardxtalent on 1 team it is just incredible.. The scores couldd be ridiculous..

Adam Fantilli just took a major and got tossed from the game tonight ..Scorec till tied at 0-0 after 1st period between Notre Dame and Michigan...seens to have a temper and retaliated taking penalties...This pne was for a hit to the head but earlier in game took a penalty in retaliation for a hit on him..After weeks ago he took a penalty in retaliation that also was a major..
Starting to wonder if he can keep his cool when checking is tight on him?

Still 0-0 between Notre Damecand Michigan tonight.. Notre Danexalso got a player tossed for hot to head..Andvjuatvlijexwhen Fantilli got tossed earlier..tge 5 minute major Pp that resulted gotvibterruptes again with about 2 minutes remaining on the PP because the Po team took a penalty.. And so no score from the Point units on a major they got in their favour..
Of note: Nazar looks awfully small...real shrimp.. worried about this unless he spurts becaus at NHL level they will manhandled him..
Lando Slaggert had had a very good game ...for almost 2 periods...Got several good scoring chances but got beaten twice by Michigan goalie Portillo and missed the bet on another goid scoring chance .. Also good on draws and strong ones...then late in 2nd period he makes a turnover goif that leads to a 2 on1 with Nazar with the puck on a 2 on1 scoribgvchance...of course Nazar completely blows it by not shooting and instead trying a fancy drop pass back to the Michigan guy going in with him on the 2 on 1.. naturally it was a horrible drop back pass that missed the guy who was not behind him but was closer in to the crease almost side by side to Nazar .. and so the puck tgoes back all the way back out the zone..so a blown 2 on 1 by Nazar with a bad decision to back pass when he he should have saucered it over sideways ...ealier intge game Nazar also missed sitting up a guy with a horrible pass that missed the target recipient by a lot...And he also missed the net on a scoring chance when he was set up ..So I am not impressed by Nazar and his alleged skill..goofs badly on scorin chances. Yes he has speed but question his decision-makingv shot accuracy ,and passing accuracy ...all seem to be nothing special...resulting in missed opportunities. expect more for a guy picked 13th overall...

It went to OT tied 1-1 after 3 periods.. Notre Dame wins the 3x3 OT to win game 2-1 ...and by winning secures hone ice for themselves in big ten playoffs ..

Khl started playoffs today I guess Michkov finished for season as Sochi was not a pkyiff team..and he cannot play in international tournaments like Theresa's Russia under suspension by the IIHF.
But hexwas loaned to Sochi
..So maybe the team he is contracted to can now recall him?
He was not in the SKA St.Petersburg lineup today in their 6-4 loss ...so maybe they did not recall hom or did if their VHL or MHL lower level club affiliates are in playoffs?
