In Canada onTSN4 tonight they are showing the WHL game between Regina Pat's and Winnipeg.. Ice .So Connor Bedard vs.top team in the CHL (they have the best record in the CHL ...not just in the WHL...So nest player in Juniors vs. Best team in the 3 CHL major junior leagues.

Winnipegv gas 7 NHL draftees already signed to ELCs and 1 NHL draftee not yet signed tobanELC...and Winnipeg akso has Zac Benson who is likely going at # 6 overall n the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.

I know that the AHL has a 23 team playoff format, so Rockford ‘shoulda be’ playoff bound this year on the basis of their great start but...why did the roster get blown up?

Call ups hurt their chemistry. They've been struggling for awhile well before these trades

Connor Bedard's team,Regina,sits in 6th place on the Eastern Conference of the WHL and ifvcurrent placings hold would play Saskatoonin the 1st round of playoffs that do not begin till March 3st...

The IIHF World d u18s men's Championship Tournament does not begin till April 20th...

So if Regina cannot beat the higherr seed in Round 1,(Saskatoon has 84 points to 63 points for Regina currently) then BBdard'WHL season will be over BUT he can go to the World d u18s ..

Correct me if I am wrong...but is Carlsdon too old to play in the World u18 Chanoionship this year? (He isxa Dec.2004 birth date...so is 18 before 2023 started).

If Carlsdon to old to play in it then we can at least MAYBE see Bedard there and compare to Will Smith...Bedard so spectacular and flashy...Smith so much hockey IQ and effectiveness...it shoukd be interesting if it happens...andxwill their lines play agaibsteach other's line,or will their coaches not do a mano a mano top line Match-up?

If Bedard not there ,then Canada not likely to win God...Too many draftxekigibkes fron Canada still could be into deeper pkayoff robs with their Junior teams.
