BUT I'm angry because he missed the open net in last few minutes, that should be a go-ahead goal. And they allowed a goal on PK when 10 sec remind.
wow I can't say it's a bad game for him, but a little disappointing.

Nils Juntorp had an assist last night in a 4-3 OT win for Dubuque. Now has 10 points in 15 games in the USHL. 6th round pick just turned 19 four days ago.

After his 2 goal game yesterday Riku Tohila is tied at15 goals for the 3rd most goals in the Sm-sarja u-20 league in Finland...He sits 5th in goal scoring because he has played 1 more game than the 2 others he is tied with atc15 goals..

The top 2 in goalsscored are older players at 20 and years old ...Tohila will just turn 19 on December 4th...The 2 ahead of him are a 2023 draft eligible currently 17 year old and a currently 19 year old..

Tohila is the only drafted player (so far) amongst these top 5 goal scoring leaders..

All 4 of the other top 5 goal leaders have a lot more assists than Tohila (he has only 4 )...but Tohila is not on the top line for his team,whereas several if not all the others in that top 5 goal leaders I think are featured players for their teams.

In any case...for a 7th rounder in a less featured role ,Tohila is surpassing expectations. I would expect he gets a top line role next season and we can hope his assists totals improve then.

Gonna be interesting to follow the paths of Korchinski, Mintyukov and Mateychuk. Mintyukov has been unbelievable this season for Saginaw (15 year old phenom Michael Misa is gonna be a hell of a prospect down the road too).

Mintyukov is who I wanted us to draft. Should be fine with Korchinski, but I like Minty more.

In fairness also, he's an older prospect at 19 compared to the other two who are a solid 7-8 months younger. But he's been dominant offensively this season.
