The USHL kicks off starting tonight Sept.22 as all 16 teams are in Philadelphia forctge 4 day Fall Classic event....Philadelphia has no ISHL team but maybe this is set there to Guage interest for an expansion club?

In any event both some drafted players (e.SAM RINZEL who is the top NHL draftee who will be on dispkay) and future top draft prospects from the USHL will be there pkaying for their resoective USHL teans ...notsure what tge format is or how many games each team plays there over the days but expect a lot of NHL scouts to be there .

A lot of attention will be on 2024 draft top prospect C MACKLIN CELEBRINI a June 2006 born who will play forctge Chicago Steel this season...The Canadian from B.C. is considered by a lot of scouts as the best 16 yr old who is draft eligible in 2024 ...So could go #1 overall.

Thise of you know Chicago should check out some Steel games this season to watch this kid.

.so ifvtge Tank fails this season because Hawjs with Tand K are still too good to finish bottom 3 with best odds for a top 3 pick and no luck moving g up in the lotto draws,Then maybe Hawks stink more in 2024 without T+K and no Domi or A A.?

I think the logo would have been better -- especially in the new design -- if the pig wasn't the exact same colour as the jersey. Make him a light pink and it would pop a lot more IMO.

The Fuel just finalized a deal to move out of the Coliseum and to the suburbs. They're obviously moving to the soon-to-be empty arena in Indianapolis to recreate (yet again) the Indianapolis Ice.

10 USHL teans already finished their 2 game stinks at tge USHL falk Clasdic in Pittsburgh...

The Waterloo Blackhawks (SamRinzel( did not play yet over tge first 2 days but play today and tomorrow to complete their 2 games at this Falk Classic showcase event where every team plays 2 games to start the season.

Their games start at 2:30p.m. Pittsburgh tome...so wil lbe interesting to see how Rinzel performs.

Chicago Steel won both theirvgames at the Fall Clasdic to start theirvUSHL season 2-0 ...

MACKLIN CELElBRINI thec16 yr old sensation expected to go #1overall in the 2024 NHL Draft started off his USHL career with 1g+2a over these 2 wins for tge Steel.

Rinzel didn't get a point and was Even in Waterloo 's 5-2 win over Youngstown yesterday...He did however generate 6 shots on goal..

Waterloo plays its 2nd game at the Fall Classic this afternoon against the USNTDP u-18 squad. ...

In today's loss to the USNTDP -u18s over his Waterloo Blackhawks,Sam Rinzel got on the scoresheet with 1a,had 4 shotson goal and was +1..

He has 10 shots goal on goal 2GP but none went in.

Clearly hevis generating on tgecattack but clearly also needs to work on hisxshotvto finish sone of these.

Michigan Wolverines mens hockey gets going Sat. OCT. 1ST wiith han exhibition game against University of Windsor ...so hopefully Nazar is in the lineup for Michigan this game ...Also Adam Fantilli and his older brother Luca are playing for Michigan this season.

On Octobwr 7th, Michigan next plays Lindenwood University (St.Charles Missouri ...near St.Louis) which joins NCAA Div 1 with its men's program femoral the first time starting this season.It has had a woenen's hockey team in Div.1 NCAA for many years before the men's program moved up to Div.1 this season.

Hevus listedvi the gane notes to play tonight as tge Steel make their seadin home debut...But as tge Hawks pmay tonight agaibst Detroit in a home game obviously Bkackhawks fans will be going to that one andso not takibgbitceady tgeir first live viewing of Celebrini.

I guess that will haveto wait for another night.

Celebrini has committed to Boston U. For the 2024/25 season.
