They’ve invested a lot in his training. This is an Olympic gold medalist which means they think he’s some mainstream name superstar, I doubt they water that down.

So the plan would be to:

- Have Roman become the super hyper omega giga champion by having him go over Brock this weekend

- Roman drops one of the two belts (I would assume via a MITB cash in) at some point in the summer so one show has something worth a damn.

- essentially say "welp no point of this" for an entire year's worth of booking/building new stars as you spin your wheels accomplishing nothing since the main event of WM39 is already set in stone so no need to build stars

- have two big sweaty Samoans (one of which will be 50 come next year) wrestle, which will cement an already cemented Roman and do absolutely f***ing nothing for anyone else.

Gee I wonder why ratings are dropping.
