I remember when I wanted them to bring him back but that was like 7-8 years ago. Not sure he brings much value at this point.
He doesn’t but he was received pretty well when he returned for the rumble.

lol, a surprise Royal Rumble entrant pop doesn't mean people want him back. Someone in the company lost their mind unless Carlito is going to be used in some type of mentor or producer role.

AEW has brought in Jimmy Jacobs to replace BJ Whitmer.

from wrestlingheadlines.com:

Veteran pro wrestler and creative writer Jimmy Jacobs is now working as an AEW Producer.

We noted earlier that Jacobs is currently backstage for tonight’s AEW Dynamite in Washington, DC. It was rumored that he would be helping out with AEW creative, but it wasn’t clear what his role would be as he’s been on the Impact Wrestling creative team since 2017.

In an update, F4Wonline.com now reports that Jacobs has left Impact to join AEW. He will be working as a producer.

Jacobs began working for Impact in November 2017, and was an integral part of their creative team. He also worked for WWE as a creative writer from March 2015 through October 2017, but was fired for taking pictures with members of The Bullet Club, who did an “invasion” angle outside of a WWE RAW event for their Being The Elite show on YouTube. Jacobs also wrestled for many years, beginning in 1999. A former tag team partner of current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Jacobs is a five-time ROH World Tag Team Champion and a one-time PWG World Tag Team Champion. He was inducted into the Indie Hall of Fame earlier this year.

AEW has been expanding their creative team in recent months as they prepare to launch AEW Collision on TNT this Saturday. Bryan Danielson has been helping with AEW creative and is expected to work on the Collision storylines. AEW Wrestling Administration Coordinator Will Washington, who was hired in early May, is also helping creatively.

There is a Baron von Raschke documentary. I cannot find much about the film but it was making the festival circuit in '22.

He was in great spirits post accident, which was incredible considering just how debilitated he was. Held zero grudges, blamed no one, just seemed like a great dude.

Very sad to hear about Droz indeed. :(

Short of death…he suffered the worst possible outcome imaginable during that fateful match with D’Lo Brown, yet he never blamed D’Lo for the accident…or held any ill-will or bitter grudges towards him afterwards.

Rest easy Droz.

In my life I can only hope to exhibit 1/10th of the grace Droz displayed after the incident. I know D’Lo still beats himself up about it but Droz did everything he could to take the blame off of him. I hope they both have found peace (certainly seems like Droz had)

As somebody who got into Wrestling(AWA) in 1984, I always remember the Baron as a good guy. lol

Interesting timing of the announcement with the on sale date possibly being within a week of All Out and Collision on sale date plus, as the article mentions, the event date being close to the AEW Thanksgiving show which has taken place in Chicago in the past. Obviously both companies draw well in Chicago. I'm sure there is some crossover of fans that attend both companies and some that only attend one of them. If I was on a budget and could only buy one ticket this month and one next month the one more likely to sell out quickly is the WWE show (combination of past shows and venue size) so that would be my first target. I wonder how many fans are in that situation and would come to the same conclusion as me.

Various sites are reporting that Matt Riddle has knocked up some porn star named Misha Montana.
