Jokes aside, NO team has scouted Manch as hard as CBJ, as the article states. So if it were for Gaborik, which who really knows at this point, they're certainly doing their homework.

Gaborik? I know the Kings liked him in the past, but I worry about his durability. He did score in their last game though and the Kings made out pretty well off the last time they made a deal with Columbus. But could Gaborik play LW?

There was a time when I think we all wanted Gaborik for playing alongside Kopitar's wing... but what was that, like 3 years ago!? 4 years ago?
Gabby has shown time and time again that he is Mr. Brittle Bones for a good reason. Kind of forgot he is even still playing.
Williams was Mr. Glass. Willie came off of a brutal concussion. Don't think injury concerns are a huge thing to Dean. Personally, Gaborik has been the move I've quietly thought of for a while. I'm not a rumor monger so I don't like to post things, as I don't want them to be interpreted the wrong way. But as a pure hockey move, it adds a lot to this team. Speed and scoring are two huge needs and Gaborik fills both.
Besides, it's #lumbus.

I agree whole heartedly, the kings have a way of taking "injury prone" players and making them contributers foe years after that label.
We'd probably be interested if he weren't a rental. Columbus may have scouted us heavily, and we may have kicked the tires on Gaborik a little, but I doubt we are the highest bidders given that he needs have the maximum salary retained and he is a rental. Giving up serious assets for him doesn't seem like something Lombardi would do. You would think that we would have to include Williams in that deal. Doesn't sound appetizing.

Mark my words, if the kings get erhoff we are cup favorites.and as unpopular as it may be if we get a player like gagner and push stoll to 4th line c plus pk we will be the hands down favorite (in conjunction with erhoff) due to our top lines skill and bottom 6 secondary scoring.my opinion but sound when coupled with facts.sorry rec p I have to quote to comment again.stupid galaxy.
And with the blues top players disappearing around that time, not much to worry about.imo.

Bet you said the same thing after the Williams acquisition or Mitchell signing. Gaborik isn't injury-prone; he's just very unlucky.
