This makes me so happy that he's heading there. After the first couple seasons there Vancouver was just miserable for him and the only reason he left Florida was because they refused to pay him market value for a starting goalie at the time. He should've never left Florida.

This reminds me of the end of the Gretzky era Kings, just bad move on top of bad move. An aging and declining roster and little to no young players stepping in.

The Kings went to the finals and never returned to the playoffs, the Canucks went to the finals and have one playoff win in two years since.

The sad thing is the Sedin's appear to be so selfish that they would rather stay in Vancouver and be horrible together rather than be traded to different teams and have a chance to win a cup. It's embarrassing, the guys are in their 30's and won't play on separate teams.

Anytime I am annoyed by Stoll's or Trevor Lewis' play...I remember this play. Lewis,
all over Hamhuis and dives to knock the puck free to Stoll and Stoll actually finds the back of the net. Forever Sweet.

The 3rd one on Hoven's list:
...there have been talks between the Flames and Kings for a package deal. While we’ve been told Lombardi is not really interested in Michael Cammalleri (or any other high-priced rental), he’d be willing to take the diminutive sniper if that’s what was needed to pry Mark Giordano out of Calgary. At 30 years old and signed to a reasonable $4M cap hit, this is a deal right in the wheel house. It’s something that was discussed recently, and would likely include Justin Williams, Kyle Clifford, Jake Muzzin and possibly a draft pick. However, as of this afternoon, this deal wasn’t the top priority, but considered something the two teams could come back to if other options don’t materialize prior to Wednesday’s deadline.

I like Giordano, but Christ...Williams for Big Ego I just want the money Rental Cammalleri? Come on...
 
Mayor still banging that Williams drum is he ehh ? He might be the only guy in LA that wants to trade Williams.
