Meh, Robidas is coming back from an alright start and a broken leg. It is essentially Penner for an IR Robidas.

Ducks had cap space to begin with and then freed some up by moving Penner.

The Kings would probably have to find a taker for Greene, Stoll or Williams to add a guy Anaheim is going to probably be adding.

Vanek has said he is open to re-signing if it's the right fit.

Ofcourse, a mole hill is turned into a mountain with the Minnesota stuff, never been any confirmation, just messageboard talk that leads to it called "The worst kept secret in sports"

Vanek - Getzlaf - Perry would be an insanely difficult line to stop, if Anaheim went that route.

Think that the Ducks have an internal cap limit..Vanek is gonna want around 7 million per.. They will also have Hiller to re-sign.. Selanne, Koivu will be off their books, but they were low salary guys anyway. Silverberg will get a raise.

Guess will see what happens.

I actually think they might be making a push for Moulson and Erhoff they would ship Vatanen back along with some of their other young talent.

Ducks have the same philosophy as the Kings, don't like to pay much for rentals, and they need a D-Man Erhoff fills a big need for them long term despite the Robidas deal. Moulson replaces Penner.

Anaheim has 10 million in cap space.... Talk about asset management. Jesus.

Wow.. buyers market this year? I mean 4th round picks? Glad the Kings aren't sellers...

Robidas and Penner for 4th rounders are bargains.

Salary cap is gonna kill the market for a lot of teams. A team like Buffalo cannot retain salary.

Anaheim sitting pretty, with all that cap space, not a lot of competition.

Sucks for Scrivens.

Funny cuz I was actually going to make that suggestion in the Edmonton thread on the trade board. They need a veteran for stability and that should push Scrivens to earn the starters spot if he wants it. I think that is a good move by Edmonton. Now they ought to ship off some of those midgets for some fully grown men that can actually play defense.

Outside of Getzlaf and Perry the Ducks don't have a single forward making $3 mill a season.

The Kings have 6 forwards making over $3 mill a year, and once Brown's contract kicks in, four forwards making over $5 mill a year.

What is the max bet on the Vanek and Moulson ones?

That is free money, you are laying insane juice but if you throw $500 on each one it's essentially a free $200 bucks.
