I don't but I would not bet against it either.
Do they plan to share the load on all 3 and they get 27 or 28 games each?
Do they play the hot hand?
No idea what to expect, but if one of them gets hurt 50 games seems not that impossible.

I quoted that poster because I’d like to know if he expects* Levi to play 50+ games. Since his response implies he feels that will the case.
*expects him to play that much, not does he think its possible. Of course it’s possible as are other scenarios with our goalies.

I have no idea what they are planning to do with the goalies.
My response is highly skeptical whenever I see someone suggest that the plan is for Levi to be a 50+ start #1 goalie in 23-24. I have high hopes for Levi long term. But, I do not believe that playing him 50+ games this year when the team expects to make the playoffs is the best plan in the world.
My general analogy is that it is attempting to walk over Niagara Falls with no safety equipment if it is Levi with UPL and/or Comrie behind him.

Yeah, I was agreeing with Gras and thinking that the author's projection of a Helley-esque rookie season (Helley played in 56 games) was a bold projection.@Gras said he couldn’t see Levi playing 50+ games. Since I didn’t read the article and just saw his post, I was a tad confused by your response .

Maybe if both Levi and UPL look good in preseason we can send Comrie to the Avs if KA feels good about our depth behind those two. This definitely makes it less likely Comrie passes through waivers if Colorado doesn't make a move before the start of the regular season.
As a former bilateral adductor injurierer I completely feel for him. coming back that quickly would be amazing. And thankfully I didn’t need surgery.

They'll have to LTIR Francouz to make room for anyone, and there are a lot of "third" goalies they could target: Vladar, DeSmith, Comrie, maybe Raanta, (and probably some other guys I'm forgetting), depending on who hits waivers and which teams offer retention.
But given that Colorado has cup aspirations and their #3 is Justus Annunen (who they benched in the AHL playoffs for Jonas Johanssen) I'm guessing they'll make the low-risk move and just sign Jaro Halak.

The worst part is the probably have to carry three because someone might claim Comrie and there is zero Levi and UPL. It's just a disgrace and only Devon can bail out this decision.
