Omg

UPL has played well in many games, no doubt, but leave it to the Buffalo organization to overrate one of their own.

I'd rather look at save % over wins any day of the week.

I realize Anderson is not the future, but he's clearly our number 1 right now.

He's letting in almost a goal a game more!

They play on the same team!!

Anderson's issue is you simply cannot ride him even if he is the hot hand, which is debatable of late. He doesn't want that and isn't capable of handling it even if he did want it. He is formidable in spot duty, no more. That does not make him a #1 goalie. UPL has been and will continue to get the lion's share of starts and that literally, by definition, makes him the #1 in the org.

They've also said that Anderson operates under a workload that is dictated by Anderson. With him going in as relief last night, I would think we don't see him again if at all until next week, even as the backup.

Not paying Ulmark is looking like one of the worst screw-ups any organization has made in the past decade. Just a colossal blunder that has set us back by at least 2-3 seasons we are going to piss away playing AHL quality goalies while Waiting For Godot with Levi.

It should have been Ullmark and UPL, and maybe not even considering Levi in the Reinhart trade. Post Ullmark, targeting Levi is looking good, but the loss in years of having a quality starter is just sooo miscalculated.

I didn't think UPL was horrible last night. The 4th was soft but the dude was hung out to dry multiple times. Would have been nice to see him steal one but shooters had time and space. Just really poor team play through the NZ and D zone

Looked bad on 2 imo

Overcommitting on the first O'Reilly goal and making himself small again on the 4th, after coming out of the net nicely imo.

Still have no idea why Anderson didn't start. GAA & S% night and day between the 2

That's fair. Was the 2nd goal ROR in alone on the backhand? Because that's a tough assignment. I could be misremembering though.

On the first goal he made a squeeze to the post right before stretching across the net which was critical in his timing. There really shouldn't be a guy open there and it threw UPL off.

I just think the team played like shit in front of him, allowing cross ice passes and guys in the slot. It's mostly a product of turning the puck over constantly in the NZ, not slowing down their rush and not being able to retrieve dump ins.

i'm going to be annoyed but not devastated if there isn't a move made to shore up goaltending at the deadline.

i will however be irate if a move isn't made in the offseason.
 
If we get to the playoffs, our only hope is Levi is our Dryden

Anderson cannot play an entire series, and UPL and Comrie aren't winning a series

We aren't winning the cup this year. If we make the playoffs, play UPL and Comrie and let the chips fall where they may.

Thats said, I wouldn't mind moving for a goaltender for the stretch run TO the playoffs.
