We're asking for the same result we had against Canada, I'm just not sure Portugal can score against us. Then again Canada played nearly the entirety of that match in their box and somehow managed one, so...

Saved by the post, absolute embarrassing performances so far for their standards. Tactically they are just a complete mess, extremely easy to defend against. Against better teams they would've been wiped out by now.

This team is good enough to win it all, but in these 3 games so far they look far from a team, looking more like 11 individuals out there that have never played together before.

Any chance we can push Ertz up and free Horan and Lavelle from having to play so deep? Feel like the spacing is so bad and the support out of the back/midfield is so slow that it's forcing our attack into trying to play hero ball. Can anybody else play the cb effectively enough? Sonnett?

Next one going to be tough as is and no Lavelle and Smith now? Brutal.

This US team just isn't that good. They're a mixed bag of aging veterans and potentials. Tactics was never the teams strong suit. They were just more physically dynamic. And I don't think this team has those qualities anymore.

But TBF second half against Denmark the US was far superior.

I can't see the US getting far in the knockout round. Sweden might send them home early.

Before the tournament I had England winning... But I certainly thought the US would make the Semis. That's looking like it may be an overachievement.

Just finished watching the replay on DVR. US is very lucky to have drawn. Very lackluster performance with so much on the line.
