However I also definitely think the org wants another chance to see if Kreider can be a top-9 player this year before making any moves.

Finally again yes 100% would have liked Haley to stay up.

Haley gets the shaft here. The guy did everything that was asked of him and exceeded expectations while not doing anything stupid. I'd rather see the Rangers move Boyle and keep Haley around. Maybe send AA for a conditioning stint. Something. The guy deserves to stay.

This team needs more offense. We are by far the worst offensive team that is in playoff position right now. It will be even harder to score in the playoffs.

in regards to haley, is disappointing yes, but we did sign asham so no need for both players to play at same time.. haley's the future will be on a one way deal next year with the team.. prob havent seen the last of him this year too!

I want Kreider in a Ranger uniform very badly, but I think this was early.

Last in the EAST in GF. 6 goals scored in the last 5 games. And people are complaining that Micheal Haley got sent down.

Micheal Haley, who has a career 0.31 ppg in the AHL and 0.06 ppg in the NHL.

He was skating well, but I think he's the only one who didn't have to go through waivers, so obviously he was the easy choice to be sent down.

Excited to see what he can do after tearing it up in the 'A. 6 goals in 8 games. Rangers could definitely use that goal scoring, speed, and size, on the LW no less. If he starts playing aggressively like Miller has been playing, he will be a dangerous scorer right now. The skill is there, he needs to use it.

Hopefully he's playing with Stepan or Miller at C. Or put him with Richards and Nash - that could be a very dominant line. Just, please, don't put him with Powe and Halpern. I think he'll end up on a line like Kreider-Miller-Pyatt. I'd be OK with that.

We have the talent to be better offensively. They boys have been under performing, if they can start to perform at the level they should be playing, our offense will get better.

Trade one of Gilroy or Eminger asap ( or waive if no trade is possible) for 7th rounder in order to Free up a roster spot - #48
Sign Zuccarello 2 year 1,5 m deal - spot #49
Sign Dekeyser or Sustr ( probably having to burn a contract year now though) - spot #50
Maybe Trade Taylor Pyatt to Phoenix for Rafi Torres for some grit
Await the trade deadline to see what interesting can come along then. Do not go crazy if prices then escalate out of control... adress teams needs (grit, depth, PPQB) with trading prospects/picks and not taking on Contract years or money. Rental(s) is probably the Word.

I've been saying for a few days now that Kreider deserves to get called up based on his Hartford play, so I approve.

Kreider: Another excellent game where he did exactly what he should - take advantage of his size and speed. Going down to the AHL was like medicine for a sick guy - it made him 100% better. He's actually good now. I've attacked him the whole season to the point where people thought I have a personal vendetta against Kreider, but he's been really excellent since going down. This is not the same player I was watching until February.

a 15 year old is most likely better at fighting than Boyle. for a guy that is 6'7 he has to be the worst fighter for a guy who is that big.
