It’s weird to see Binnington with this unconfident body language.
I’m not seeing that. Think you’re pulling that out of thin air.

That legitimately pisses me off. For years I've defended Parayko for not having to be Pronger, that's not who he is, doesn't have to be an enforcer just because he's huge, etc. and now he's out here fighting with gusto in a friggin in-season tournament? How many cheap shots did he save that for?
I mean, he’s fought for the Blues before. 3 times. People that say Parayko is soft are way over exaggerating. He’s not Pronger but he plays a hard, physical game.

This is so stupid
Imagine hating intense, rivalry hockey lol. Couldn’t be me.

Definitely the post

Most of the pundits I have seen had Canada as the favorite in the tournament
The replay they just showed revealed that it was a fantastic stretch save by Binnington. Unless I'm crazy and delusional.

Imagine thinking staged fights at the beginning of the game is the definition of “intense rivalry hockey”. Everything that has happened since the 0:03 mark is what actual rivalry hockey looks like.
Fights at the beginning, or not, this has been the best competitive hockey game I've seen in several years.

I rewound it and did slow motion, Larkin hit the post if that’s the same one you’re thinking about

I think the first fight was great, sets the tone. The second fight felt unnecessary, like Brady didn’t want to be one upped by Matt.

In was just referring to this game. Makar is out tonight, and we've seen the results of that, especially on The Power play, but also on the effectiveness of our top 2 pairings. And it didn't help to also have Pietrangelo out.

I agree! The 1st fight was spontaneous. The 2 teams have wanted to work out some grudges, but it wasn't "staged". The others started up because they felt they had to stand up for their teammates to "send a message". So they might be thought of as "unnecessary".
