Ref should have counted three. I don't know why he would take another move if he's injured. Diď the ref forget Fenx was supposed to win? I don't know but it may go back to my sloppy wrestling comments.

Ref botches the count and then they immediately do the same finish, that’s an indication of a missed audible.

I just don't get why the ref didn't just count the initial fall, they are supposed to count to 3 and its on the wrestler to kick out.

I really can't tell fully, but I think he might have been trying to call an audible and end the match there and the ref just didn't hear or got confused?

If what makes the talent special is unnecessarily risking serious injury or death, they're not that special. Yes there's an inherent risk in wrestling, but most of these idiots don't know when to pick their spots. That's why Dante Martin just lost a year of his career doing a dumb, reckless spot on a show that didn't really matter. And they can say all day that the Ospreay/Omega Tiger Driver spot was a work and they didn't botch it but anybody with two eyes can see that's bullshit and he nearly broken Kenny's neck. It was stupid to the point that even Danielson pretty much nicely said it was a dumb spot that wasn't worth the risk.

As for the Jungle Boy spot particularly, you don't really need to look any further than Bill Goldberg to see why you don't use real glass in a spot.

One of these idiots is going to either end their career or die in the ring because nobody there will say no.

They absolutely need to do a few segments of Cole & Roderick in the same hospital room. One with his leg up and in a cast and the other in a neck brace.

MJF comes in and puts Cole in a wheelchair and takes him away while Roderick stays looking depressed in his bed.

Seems appropriate to point out the concussion happened on the initial dive by Fenix onto Mox before the match started (a common spot in every promotion on Earth) and NOT the piledriver.

Taking that bump with a concussion doesn’t seem to be a great idea, easy way to risk second impact syndrome. That can kill you. It killed Canada’s own Tim Hague. At least Fenix is a good worker, if he’s reckless it’s usually just with himself. Thank god he wasn’t in there with somebody who is green

I can't figure out what they're doing with HOB. They might be on TV for a week or two then disappear for a couple weeks. There isn't any sustained momentum. Maybe injuries played a role, I don't know. To some degree the same with Andrade. He was featured for a couple weeks when Collision debuted then only one match in July and one last week and maybe this week so hopefully he's back in the mix. Too many wrestlers? Nothing from creative? I don't know, just seems like a waste given some of the other Collision matches that have occurred.

AEW house shows...quietly went the way of the dodo? I would guess the attendance played a decision but the cities they performed house shows in may have played a role in that as well. Not that all of them were smaller towns but some may not have been conducive to getting enough people to make it financially viable. Maybe the addition of Collision put the kibosh on them but they could still do a house show Friday then Collision Saturday in a different city.

Omega/Ibushi/Jericho vs. Takeshita/Guevara/??? at WrestleDream. I'm guessing Will Ospreay as the 3rd guy.

Would rather see Omega/Jericho vs. Ospreay/Guevara but at the same time, I don't know if Ibushi is cut out for a singles match yet. He's nowhere near the level he was at in NJPW.

I think it speaks volumes to how good this card is when a match involving the Bucks and Lucha Bros is probably the filler match on the card.
