fantasy booking: Sign Edge to 2yr deal. Wembley 2024 Edge Vs Sting Career vs Career dream match.
Edge goes over.
2025 Edge Vs Christian final match for Edge

Sting's retirement match should not be in England, not sure if you are saying England for Edge/Christian as well but their last match shouldn't be there either

Sting should go out in some place in the South, preferably Atlanta or Charlotte

E&C needs to be in Canada, preferably Toronto

Collision last week also had to compete with a WWE PPV, right?

Also real fans shouldn't be upset about Punk's firing. It's not OK to assault your coworkers or bully them anywhere else. Why should it be OK backstage, off-screen in a wrestling promotion?
Oh I agree that it *shouldn’t* cause them to lose viewers in a perfect world. They fired him with cause at the end of the day. I don’t think they’re losing any AEW diehards or anything like that, if anything they’ve probably been galvanized into further supporting the company by all of this. But Punk is a popular guy with casuals and was a big reason why Collision was greenlit and why it was doing pretty well considering Saturday night competition.

I don’t think his firing is a death blow to Collision- they have plenty of talent- but they will have to figure some stuff out to keep casual eyeballs on them on Saturday nights. I’m actually kind of excited about it. I don’t think it’s going to go the way of Rampage

Ah well. He didn't seem to provide much value.

AEW is better off without those guys. It's a shame that Punk brought so much negative attention to the company. I hope that Collision can continue to grow it's viewership
I try not to watch his pod much, but Bischoff had a great point that he thought TK should start cutting some of the malcontent talent that began acting/speaking negatively...

It would help thin the roster a bit...and also make it a happier/more driven lockerroom

And he's right, as much as I hate to say that about Bischoff. Tony Khan has been too soft with some of these guys, and too buddy-buddy with others. Ultimately it's a business. He's the owner. They're the employees. They need to tow the line or go back to whatever indie they came from.

Final match for both.

They retire together as best friends. That would be a crazy moment.

They tag for a bit, become champs, then when they lose the belts that's when they retire.

FTR take the belts off Christian and Edge to verify they're the best tag team in the modern era.

Punk deserved to be fired but so did Jack Perry. I'm annoyed that Perry is still employed by AEW. ATP if Punk wants to continue to wrestle, NWA might be his only option.

I'm not too crazy about Edge possibly going to AEW but if he wants one last run with Christian, then I am fine with it.

You fail to understand what makes AEW special.

The talent is allowed a ton of creative freedom.

Tony made 1 mistake when he let Punk back after the initial press debacle and attack on The Elite.

You can keep on watching WWE safe corporate wrestling if that more your cup.

Its the match Im least interested in.

Omega and Takeshita

Danielson and Starks

If what makes the talent special is unnecessarily risking serious injury or death, they're not that special. Yes there's an inherent risk in wrestling, but most of these idiots don't know when to pick their spots. That's why Dante Martin just lost a year of his career doing a dumb, reckless spot on a show that didn't really matter. And they can say all day that the Ospreay/Omega Tiger Driver spot was a work and they didn't botch it but anybody with two eyes can see that's bullshit and he nearly broken Kenny's neck. It was stupid to the point that even Danielson pretty much nicely said it was a dumb spot that wasn't worth the risk.

As for the Jungle Boy spot particularly, you don't really need to look any further than Bill Goldberg to see why you don't use real glass in a spot.

One of these idiots is going to either end their career or die in the ring because nobody there will say no.

i dunno. i can't think of an Omega match i've seen where he doesn't get dumped on his head 2-3 times. he's either the worst wrestler or the dumbest

I dunno that I've ever seen it that egregious from him. I've seen plenty of spots where you're like "Oh wow they tried to make it look like he landed on his head but if you look closely you can see the work." That one was "How the f*** did he not break his neck, how stupid are you?"

Of course, I'm sure somebody will spin that into "They're just that great of workers that you can't see where he was protected!" No lol. The guy was dropped right on his melon. It was essentially the same exact bump that numerous people have been f***ed up on when they take the Styles Clash the wrong way.

Punk deserved to be fired after last years debacle to be honest. If they gave Punk a free pass from that, which was 100x worse than anything Perry did, he deserves another chance too.

At the end of the day this is 100% on Tony not having any control of his locker room. Tony should have been on top of all the crap going on in the backroom to not let it get to that point. Whether you believe Punk was at fault or the Young Bucks were, he should have striped the Bucks from there executive vice presidents titles.

Perry absolutely does not deserved to be fired. Not sure why this ridiculous comment keeps being made.

As far as I’m concerned Perry doesn’t need to be fired, I think the suspension is appropriate. It’s not like he’s a repeat offender or anything. He’s just an idiot, that’s all. And if idiots can’t have jobs then half the world is SOL

Depends, did Perry go up to Punk purposefully to try rub it in. If that is the case then yes he should be canned

The comment is being made because he has absolutely no business value. You get chances when you are an asset and f*** up. When you f*** up and have little to no value, you are gone.

The only reason he still has a job, and likely will be pushed the same way he had been, is because of who he is friends with. If you really want to send a strong message that you want tolerate any bullshit, you fire him too. Not because he does not deserve the benefit of the doubt, but because it also shows his friends that no one is above the law... now, they just think they got rid of Punk. Tony still look like an idiot... and he lost his biggest star.

Using internet rumours to get heat might be smart. Doing it without clearing it with the notorious hot head you are going after, it is a recipe for disaster... and disaster it was.

As for people saying Punk attacked the Elite. Come on, stop portraying them as victims. They acted stupidly by going, as a group, confront a guy that was hot at that moment. They should have addressed the problem later. They rightfully got suspensed (and did not deserve more punishment). As an executive, you need to be MUCH MUCH MUCH smarter than that.

That being said, Punk got what he deserved. People acting dumb is not a license to kick their ass without retribution. He is a little bitch and acted like one... on numerous occasions.
