Summerslam reminds me why I watch AEW. An hour in and only on match 3. Its a shitshow of weird shit and commercials mixed in with some storyline segments.

Also. The Elite, through their business acumen / social media skills have kind of paved their own way here. Do we really think they'd implode like this just because Punk unsulted them in a "shoot?" Another thing. Ace Steel. Ace Steel, whom I've only kind of heard of and have never seen (still couldn't pick him out in a lineup). This Ace Steel guy is suddenly on my tv the last week and has an impassioned speech that gets Punk back in the title match. He's fined for saying the f word. And now this Ace Steel, who nobody other bona fide Punk fans care about, is biting a recently returned Kenny Omega. I love this.
