The only match I care about this PPV cycle is Jungle Boy/Christian.
Proper build, great content and, most importantly, they have yet to wrestle.

most of the other stuff feels very rushed, thrown together, or uninteresting

Agree with @Troublesome 85 ... not as good of an episode as the last few. Still pretty good though. I truly don't understand what TK was thinking with Punk and Mox. Punk gets demolished last week and was too "injured" to do anything and now he's supposed to be a legitimate challenge. Lame.

I am so ready for Dante Martin to get a legitimate push. Phenomenal in ring and is starting to develop a little bit of charisma.

Another banger of a main event. AO don't do much for me. But you can't deny Ospreays talent. That said... the Elite are, well, elite. Omega is the best performer out there right now (not the GOAT, but the best current wrestler).

Ospreay is the joker? Main event Grand Slam? Maybe the loser of the trios between Orange Cassidy and Hangman. Morrissey. Who knows.

Yuta vs Garcia for the ROH Pure championship in Buffalo. Garcia's hometown. I would imagine Jericho gets involved. Garcia may factor into the Jericho match Sunday as well to further solidify the likely scenario of Jericho and/or JAS costing Garcia the title.

Great show. Hot opening. Hell of a promo in the middle. Outstanding main event.

The crowd was into it the whole show, and they absolutely crushed it beginning middle and end

Guessing MJF is the joker unless there’s something I missed.
Would blow the roof off the place.

why njpw is wasting there time with jay white and okada i don't know. Ospreay has the talent and deserves there top belt and a 300-400 day + reign.

So like what happened? His foot was so messed up that he was considering retiring but the power of Chicago fused it back together?

What changed from a week ago where he got squashed to now?

This build is weird
Punk sucks. I wish AEW didn’t need that pub.

The angle with Undisputed? They should be doing that angle anyways.
Of course they should, but now was not the time.

Cole and O'Reilly are injured. Omega could have used more time off. They have the PPV coming up, I understand that, but the Elite winning the trios title is not the money match they think it is. The money match is with Undisputed... and it was not going to happen at the PPV.

They put the title on the Bucks just to have them drop them like a week later. FTR are red hot and the rubber match with the Bucks is a money match. Much more than the Elite winning the trios title NOW! Do the right thing, but FTR over the Bucks, use THAT to have Cole turn on them and bring Kenny back. Build the feud for the next PPV.

So, to me, either Tony is a moron for booking it that way or the Bucks lobbied for it to happen.

EDIT: Just saw that Fightful Select posted that Fish's contract was not being renewed. L...O...L!

The only way the main event can really work is Moxley winning again in dominate fashion...or Punk has to cheat to win but the show is in Chicago. Doing the squash match last week has unfortunately made me less excited for the match at the PPV. Like he got squashed in minutes 10 days earlier and because of a pat on the back and the crowd! he is now going to beat Moxley clean? If that is the story they wanted to tell they could have still had Moxley go over convincingly but not make it a literal squash match.

If Bobby ain’t being re-signed, it definitely was the time.

Honestly wouldn't even be heart broken if they just moved on from the Elite/Cole and KOR stuff whenever they get back from injury. Cole has been around for a while now, I wouldn't mind seeing him have a feud or a program with a different part of the roster. Can always swing back around and have a Cole-Omega feud down the line as well.

I just have a hard time seeing who cares about Punk winning outside of Chicago. It just feels weird and short sighted to book that way. Hopefully there's some kind of swerve involving MJF but as the vent draws closer Im less and less convinced we see MJF

MJF wins the ladder match earlier in the night Punk wins and MJF decides to take his title shot right then and there? Basically just throwing shit at the wall at this point lol
