If Tony let him go out and say all that it was a work. I don’t think it started as a work but now it is. MJF going to get paid!

That could be.

When rumours started, it was not a work. I believe all of what happened this weekend was. Setting up MJF for his next storyline and protecting him when being squashed.

It’s not about sheets. Tony doesn’t want to get caught failing to deliver, which is exactly what happened when MJF no-showed the fan event, because then they would’ve been prepared to come up with a make-good, and they weren’t.
It may be different if it were an actual show - which is why they started pulling the advertising for the PPV match (before putting it back up).

Tony is someone who had to make a deal to get Jay White on a show based on something he thought he said. He doesn’t do bait-and-switches.

Unless MJF has a whole new deal, now or later, that isn’t going to happen. Tony can’t leave the door open to have a champion/former champion show up in WWE.
 
Freakin excellent first hour. 6 man tag was fast and in sync. MJF promo killed it. Miro's return was even entertaining.

Both fan bases are extremely online, just ask Vince how many times they promote they have a zillion social media followers.

Maybe. We don’t know that but it wouldn’t shock me.

To be clear, yes tonight was a work if not a worked shoot (referring to himself by his real name is a explicit reference from when Punk did it), he wouldn’t be on TV otherwise. He came out like he wasn’t just written off tv for a month.
