Could the ref have spoken any louder when he told Baker to put on the lockjaw? Not even a code word to finish or something, just repeated lockjaw a couple times. Joe and Baker matches were sloppy at times. At least the Hangman and Fenix matches were enjoyable.

Getting back into wrestling. Watched AEW for the first time. I remember Booker T said recently they have too much talent. Watching I see what he meant. Every wrestler had/has a posse. Didnt say I didnt enjoy it. But its kinda funny to see.

MJF is the best full-time performer in professional wrestling. Everything he’s touched since Jericho tried to ride his coattails has been A+

All these MJF to WWE talk is interesting. He knows that he can’t be the way he is in AEW with WWE. Money talks so how much money is enough for him to fall in line and do things WWE way? Everyone’s got a price!

They definitely got a big influx of talent since they started and they didn't renew some of their original contracts. I attended a show in April and was a little bummed when CM Punk, Keith Lee, and Chris Jericho had the week off. Some of the factions don't make a ton of sense.

---------

I saw they released more tickets for the Los Angeles show, but I'd spend more time in traffic than at the show so that's seeming more unlikely. Still toying with the idea of flying out and pulling an all nighter for Double Or Nothing. The card seems a little underwhelming, but I have some flight credits and nothing else planned that night.

Just seems like everyone has a needless posse. Idk any of the guys with Jericho. Have watched Eddie Kingston since CZW and he still thinks its the early 2000s which is great. Never thought he would be a main eventer.

Hope they use Samoa Joe more and sign Cesaro

Jericho's original group (outside of Jake Hager) broke up and he replaced them with some new guys that he's trying to elevate. It hasn't quite landed so far, but maybe a couple good matches would change that. Seems like it's all been skits and (iffy) mic work with them lately. But Jericho's first AEW group (The Inner Circle) did get traction and eventually got over.

Seems like they took elements from how New Japan has everybody in a faction. Usually some form of: star, guy who'll eventually turn on the star, tag team, and guy who can eat the pin for the group.

He could see that they let Rhodes pretty much keep his character, attire, theme music... Of course Rhodes doesn't know but WWE will eventually get bored with it and he'll be jobbing eventually.

I just can't imagine WWE is going to have AEW talent come in and let them be what made them successful. I mean they won't even do it with their own talent from NXT.

I didn’t see it, only heard the report, but I kinda thought the same thing because otherwise that seems pretty unsafe.

Kinda like the JAS, specifically Daddy Magic. Guy is a great heel

He did some good stuff on BTE as well.

I too like JAS, but not a Hager fan and Garcia seems a bit out of place for me, but then I can’t think of great alternatives.
I think these are guys Jericho picked on his own, and has he mentioned in a promo, has a personal history with Garcia. Garcia is someone he personally wants to get over.
