I am not terribly interested in 18 months worth of debate on whether MJF is legitimately frustrated with his contract situation or if it's an elaborate work.

I hope it gets resolved and they put the belt on him soon. Dude is too good to lose as many feuds as he does

Yeah, to me he just drags everything down that he is involved in, his schtick has just run it's course with me I think

He had been that way for me for awhile, I think this JAS stuff has revitalized him a little bit though. He’s in much better shape now too

He lost one feud to Jericho and one to Punk. I feel like he hasn’t lost many feuds.

Did he even lose a feud to Jericho, or did the Pinnacle lose that feud? IMO it was the Pinnacle and it was left very open in the end. Either way, MJF in both situations not to mention as with Cody was put over in the process. As good as MJF is, he came out of nowhere considering the rise of AEW and to get the credibility he has with those guys is something regardless of him losing or not. IMO he came out better than Jericho in that feud which I think was BS. MJF is still very young and he’s not so good compared to Jericho, Punk or Cody to be winning all if any of those feuds, yet.

This is another AEW botch if you ask me. You had Hook on this Goldbergesque run which has now been slowed to the point that where he’s in this match. I’m not even a big Hook guy, but he’s faced more over guys than Nese and now he’s facing Nese in a “big” match? Going back to me previous post, have him slap the you know what out of MJF’s mouth and watch the fans go crazy with that feud. Leave it as a “draw” with regards to the feud and then revisit it down the road when they’re both older.

Yeah he can lose some feuds and it won’t affect him. I think he can lose to Wardlow and that would be his second straight lose and he’s still fine. They have done a very good job protecting him.

Credit where credit is due, Statlander has improved a lot.

She should have won this tournament (or Toni). Ruby is a forever midcarder, and Britt is Charlotte levels of annoying booking

Stumbled onto Rampage or whatever it was expecting (like a stupid idiot) to see hockey and saw an actually decent women's match followed by an actually decent promo AND they look like women with tattoos and everything.


Already better than the last time I saw WWE circa Jinder as champ along with Brock holding the other belt hostage again wrestling once like every 3rd month.


May have to check out more. The fact I was too interested in the match to notice what I was watching is a huge positive

It's a big botch IMO. They tied Hook to Danhausen and his momentum slowed.

The good booking AEW has seems to be thought out long-term. MJF and Wardlow as an example. The shitty booking, which happens to be most of it recently, seems reactionary and on a week-to-week basis.

Sasha and Charlotte are totally different looking women though...I don't get that? I doubt Baker would be someone you would like then. Jade looks like a damn super hero, I can't imagine anyone not appreciating her look.

If you dig Ruby and Statlander looks wise then the one WWE woman you would dig is Rhea Ripley.

Ruby is super mid IMO. OK worker but a pretty bad promo. Statlander has more work to do, but has improved a lot. She is overdue to finally get a big win.

I assume Cole and Britt are winning so they can round around calling themselves the King and Queen of AEW

TBH Eddy I haven't watched anything in probably close to 4 years. All I can go by is my last recollections and it was WWE being milquetoast "but look at how pretty the toast is" and that wasn't just for the women but also their infatuation with running dudes from 20+ years ago. This match is just my first AEW exposure

I really hope they don’t pair up Cole and Baker. I’m quite content that they acknowledge it, and even have the running joke where Cole hates Schiovane cause he’s friends with Britt. I hate, hate hated that Seth and Becky tied at the hip crap in WWE and I’ll hate it in AEW too.

To be fair to you by 2005 I said "I can't do this anymore" and I spent easily the next 10 years trying to enjoy what I was seeing and couldn't. Imagine watching The Shield (I'm gonna assume you know who they are) and just saying "Oh God enough of the 3 dudes who can take out 20 gimmick" and just hating everything.

But anyway at or about the beginning of Lesnar was when I became a regular viewer. I basically missed the entire AE minus several weeks of May 1998 and brief moments of 2000 because we didn't have cable. So that said I'm otherwise Ruthless Aggression born and bred and once that ended so did I sadly.
