In a recent interview RVD had a few thoughts on CM Punk:
" Punk has the biggest ego I've ever been around, and I'm not saying that in a good or bad way, depending on how you take it. But he believes he's the best in the world. I learned a long time ago that strippers are fun to date as long as they leave the gimmick on stage and don't take it home."
" I don't think he's real flexible in his code of ethics. I think he's always like, 'What?! Is someone offending me? Should I be offended right now?" That's his energy, and it drains you and he wears out his welcome." RVD said one of the first conversations he ever had with Punk was when he came back from his 30-day suspension after being forced to drop the ECW and WWE titles, and Punk had just assumed a position as a top guy in ECW while he was gone. He said he was gone 30 days and all of a sudden Punk went from being a nobody to telling him his first day back that he's the locker room leader now and he's calling a locker room meeting to discuss some items that are being stolen from bags and how he knows it's one of the boys. He told RVD not to worry, that he knows it's not him, and RVD was like I wasn't even here for the last month so of course it's not me, and he just thought Punk was making a fool of himself to the locker room, but it was important for him to be seen in that light and to try to lay down the law like he was a big shot right away. "

I don’t want anything to do with Punk but when Harwood is speaking passionately for it it totally makes me wanna see them turn this into a work.

Man - this guy just gets it.
yawn boring as hell barely wrestlers a match and below average in the ring... yea he gets it allright... basically a version of t he miz who is being pushed into being the main event and his fanboys are buying it.

nonsense.. there levels of hating it to me hes go away heat personally i turn the channel multiple times when he comes on so sure keep thinking that.
You can like or dislike him all you want but if I interpreted correctly, you said he's being pushed to the main event and fans are buying it. You said that as if it's a bad thing but if they're pushing him and he's over, doesn't that mean what they're doing is working?

i said his fanboys are buying it.. alot of people don't like him either.. like i said earlier hes aews version of the miz.. who is a midcarder being pushed by kahn as a main eventer... and hell the miz is even better in the ring then him

Lol no he isn’t, not even close. The Miz may be the most ineffectual offensive wrestler of all time. He was born and bred and is a master accomplishment of the WWE style. And that’s perfect for them. But MJF is not behind The Miz in his ring work. Cmon.

well behind him you can't honestly say mjf is levels above the miz in the ring... lol...
I don't know about levels above but I'd definitely say MJF is a lot better than Miz in the ring. And as good as Miz is on the mic, MJF is levels above him in that department. Also MJF looks the part more. I like Miz but he is a poor man's MJF, not the other way around.

And it’s not insulting. They’re both as far as I know WWE lifers who had no prior pro wrestling experience. They have only ever known the WWE trained style.
Yeah everyone should be impressed with Miz's career. In 2005 or so when he debuted, I don't know if anyone thought he'd even last a year, let alone winning all those titles.

seen the match 5 times already but still 10x more entertaining then any match mjf has had in aew so far.
