Would you take Iginla if it meant getting Landeskog?

Depends again on what you give up. He's a UFA after this year, and I see this year as over already, so if taking his money back allows you to keep Carlo or any kid like him out of the trade, then sure, why not? Just so long as Iginla doesn't skate for us next season.

We know about the Blues. Nashville is rumored to want to add Duchene. If they don't add Duchene and are still looking for a center, Tampa may be an option if they decide to sell. Could Krejci be an option?

Which scouts were at the game? Blues, Nashville; any other teams?

I'd move Kejci right now, but in the Branch Rickey method of a year too early rather than a year too late.

I don't think he sucks or anything, I just worry about that contract down the line. I don't see them winning the cup this year or next, so do it now.

Makes no sense, does nothing but diminish the team, creates negativity. The guy is a great player. He controls the ice when he is on it. The team has been at its very best over the last six years, When he is playing great. He looks like the same player to me, snakebit and all. Right in the middle of his prime. Team has a Stanley Cup nucleus, build on it make a deal and pow....Who knows. History is full of teams that have won cups when retooling a couple things here and there at the deadline. This team can make a run or deserve to find out they cant.

Tampa fans seem to be willing to sell in the trade forum.

I'd be willing to give good value for Stralman and Palat.

I'm thinking:

Spooner
1st/Zboril

For Palat

Maybe Bruins add another prospect or pick?

You cannot be serious here ? Hopefully.

Nashville and St. Louis were the only two teams listed that had scouts at the game. Eriendsson did mention there weren't any Colorado scouts in attendance.

As much as I think they SHOULD move Krejci, I don't think he's realistically getting moved.

Hell, the team couldn't and wouldn't move Loui Eriksson for something they felt was worth it, I don't see it happening with Krejci.

But me, I'm a pessemist. Maybe something good will happen. Scott Gomez was traded for Ryan McDonagh (and a bunch of stuff I don't remember), and Krejci is way better than Gomez was at the time of the deal.

Where is all this Krejci talk coming from?

It actually started a few pages ago when people started talking about Krejci not being worth his contract. From there its just snowballed into what could we get for him. No reports or insiders have said anything about him being available.

St.louis is the biggest tease. How many trades have they wasted Boston so time with....remember Keith Tkachuk years ago, shattenkirk last year? Move on.

Krejci could make Nashville a legit contender, IMO. Nashville has a lot of cap space with most of their key guys locked up for a bit.

Johansson is a RFA after this year, but Forsberg, Subban, Josi, Ekholm, are all locked up until at least 2019.

Wonder what they'd offer for DK?

But hey they did deliver on the Hannu Toivonen for Carl Soderberg deal... But they never thought he was really coming over anyway, and Toivonen busted.

Where'd you get this?

The way I understood it, they didn't get an offer for Loui that they felt was worth it.

Oops, misworded it. I meant they didn't get an offer they felt was worth it to move him.

In the end, a 7th would have been fine with me since he walked, and we didn't even make the playoffs.

My point was they had trouble getting a good offer for him (that they deemed worth it). I think the same is likely to happen if Krejci was indeed on the table.

I like him, still not sure he`s precisely what this team needs up front as he`s not a big time goal scorer but he`s an ideal 3rd line winger, who can spot in on the 2nd and not look terribly out of place IMO

Do you think they need another scorer on the wing? I mean I know every team would like that, but I think they just need two more solid Top 9 guys on the wings, preferably with jam, especially considering that Beleskey hasn't contributed much.

I think the Bruins have two elite wingers in Pastrnak and Marchand. Vatrano on LW while he still has a lot of work to do, will definitely score some goals.

Killorn I think would be a huge upgrade to the depth chart, in light of the lineup that is available to Julien on a nightly basis, As a cap casualty it's possible he could be had for good value, much less than Landeskog at any rate.

With his cap hit, I think you HAVE to hope that Beleksey pulls it back together as he gets into game shape.

edit: Also, not sure of middling wingers WITH TERM is what this team needs with Senyshyn, DeBrusk, Heinen, Bjork, etc getting close (and Vatrano and Beleksey already on the roster). If you can get a sure fire winger for Krejci... awesome... if not, I think you just wait on the farm.

He's likely scouting Bishop mostly. They need a goalie badly.

They'd have to find someone to take on Allen's contract. Bishop will get 6 million+ in a new deal and Allen still has more years at 4.35 million a year. I doubt you'll ever see another Dallas situation of paying a goalie tandem 10 million or more a season.

They've really put themselves in a pickle handing the reins to Allen there. Good team, but going nowhere fast with the goaltending they've been getting.
