Allow me to explain, Claude realizes you can't be powder puffs and win in the playoffs so they are getting bigger and tougher to go along with their smaller skilled forwards. Will use Bruins as punching bags as they roll over them in playoffs if Boston doesn't respond somehow. Doesn't have to be by trade, call up Randell, move one of the extra D so you can have options up front.

I'm fine so far. I've seen no players moved that address the specific needs of the Bruins.

1. No rental.
2. Top six winger.
3. Top pairing defenseman.
4. Cheap 3rd line RW non-rental.
5. Upgrade on back-up goalie.

When one of those goes down and the Bruins are not involved then I think it's fair to discuss criticism of Sweeney.

I won't be frustrated. I'd be frustrated with teams around the Bruins who are neck and neck getting better while the Bruins stand pat.

Ideally what i don't want to see is a 6th round pick going for a #6-7 d-man

Im not sure how I feel about it to be honest.
Before everyone started making trades I was content with staying put as long as we couldnt get our hands on Landeskog without trading carlo/mcavoy.
But the way things have progressed with basically all our rivals making moves, getting stronger, it would be nice to respond in some way, considering that it feels like we have something really good going on since Cassidy.

why do anything other than a backup goalie
all of a sudden we are a stanley cup team ?
small trade for vrbata sure but nothing crazy , very little to gain big picture in my opinion

i sound negative but we are playing good as a team now , see were it takes us and keep are prospects . To many trades in this teams past that we gave up to much to get little in return .
