People expecting top prospects for Spooner are going to be disappointed. Clode has done his very best to ruin his trade value by refusing to play him and going to the media to trash him.
Ryan has probably checked out- after what he was told and what they delivered he should say he has a 100 day flu

cant wait till see Spooner rack up 10 points in his first dozen games once freed from
Boston.

Spooner has 3 goals this year in Providence- 1 even strength goal. But Rob Flick got 6 goals- maybe we should give him a call up if he is twice as good as Spoonah

better?? we would have to overpay. I like Rask but I rather keep Lucic, Hamilton if it came down to it. Svedberg has done a very good job as a backup and is starting material.
A move like this has never happened. Imo it needs to happen to get this team moving fwd. This would make up for the loss of Seguin in a big way. The young guys are ready to play full time at the defensive end. Morrow did a great job and needs time to gain experience

I'd rather keep Lucic/Hamilton as well. Not that Rask is our problem, but Hall would bring us some legitimate franchise player-level talent.

This is better, but still think you'd have to sweeten the pot more -- they're not going to be very impressed with a still recovering Seids, Bartowski who isn't a regular D for the Bruins, and Spooner whose trade value CJ and the Bruins FO have completely killed in a span of a few months.

add Pastrnak and a first with it and maybe

I am basing my proposal on 1. Can't stand Lucic and 2. The haul, or lack there of, we got for Seguin.

In my opinion, Lucic has much higher value than Erikkson did. Also Krug is a proven offensive D man with great PP skill. While Smith has been a nice suprise he was not commodity Krug is.

To sweeten the pot I would add Subban but def not Pasta.

I say shake it up trade

Marchand ~4 million
Eriksson ~4 million

Mcquaid ~ 2 million
2nd round pick 2015

For

Hartnell ~ 4 million
Jack johnson ~ 4 million

Atkinson ~ 1 million

Hartnell is bigger and older than marchand plays a similar game though
Johnson>mcquaid
Anisimov plays 3rd line wing when healthy takes 3c next year when soderberg leaves or koko plays C

2015 roster

Lucic-krecji-atkinson
Hartnell-bergeron-smith
Anisimov-khoklachev-pastrnak

Honestly, why wouldn't they blow it up and rebuild at this point? The Bruins are going to struggle to make the playoffs, and even if they do, they will most likely be bounced in the first round.

Start moving out players like Lucic and Chara and bring in some younger players with a higher potential.

Hell, even Krug and Smith would have some value even if they are on a 1 year deal. They have a very small cap hit and should be appealing to teams looking to add.

Said it myself, now I suggest that we both run for cover...

How do you trade a player who can't be traded without consent? Chara says no to any trade as does Rask as does krecji as does seidenberg (who probably has a no trade without looking it up) chiarelli pays his players just about market value before they are on the market and gives them all trade protection. Very short sighted

A no trade clause can always be waived. I honestly can't see a player like Chara sticking around a team that won't give him another chance at a cup before retiring. He will ultimately waive it when the Bruins are looking at the bottom of the standings in the next two years.
