Avs need a LH #1 D Prospect or Young Roster LH D, and we have a cupboard full of them. Something starting with Zboril+Morrow for Landy/Duchene with us of course adding more.

IF Landeskog is a target then getting rid of Hayes and Beleskey would basically be a wash with Landeskog's cap hit. Easier said than done, but I think talk of moving someone like Krejci is premature.

Not sure who I would prefer over Landeskog or Duchene, both would help that's for sure, wish we could get both.

As for prospects going the other way I do think at least one of Zboril or Lauzon goes, and I don't think it will be Senyshen, JFK or deBrusk, something tells me Danton Heinen will be involved, he did play his college hockey in that area, so I think the Avs may like him enough to want him in the deal.

I would love it if Duchene was the one coming to us, no complaints though with Landeskog. I would imagine that the Avs would love to get Carlo considering that they need D-men and he is from there.

Not sure what this means...

I imagine he is curious what the term is on the contract of the "supposed" player coming back to BOS.

If it is Landeskog, he is signed at $5,571,429 through 2020-21. If it is Duchense, it is $6,000,000 through 2018-19. So, either way term and $$ are concerning unless the Bruins send salary back the other way or if they get creative with other moves.

I hope DOM's intuition is on point and that the Bruins are in the mix for a major trade. I also hope DS can find a way to add scoring without putting himself in a tough spot to resign Pasta next year.

This should be interesting...but it could also be disappointing. Fingers crossed!

You can move Hayes but it will cost you a middle level prospect to dump his salary, depending on who it is it could well be worth it. Belesky is another issue, still a solid, albeit overpaid, third line W. Not sure if you could get a team looking to add grit and depth to take him, maybe a softer playoff team, Tampa and the Rangers come to mind right away without looking at salary cap.

If you can dump Hayes then I would think Beleskey would be a very likely target for Las Vegas in an expansion draft.

Does Landeskog to Boston have any steam? Or are we just tossing darts.

I know he's a shiny name, but I haven't watched much of him at all and don't hear much of him. How is Landeskogs game these days? Last I remember seeing him, Lucic was in a B's jersey peppering Landeskogs chin with gloves jabs

Potential trade

If I'm DS, I offer one of C. MILLER or Joe MORROW
Ryan SPOONER;
one of SUBBAN or MACINTYRE, and
BELESKEY

for LANDESKOG and Cody McLEOD

That's it, that's all. Aves would select C. MILLER no doubt but that's okay, with CARLO's emergence, MCAVOY looking like a 17-18 Bruin and MCQUAID and K. MILLER as options, we might feel a bit of a sting on RD now but it will be very short term. If they opt for MORROW, BONUS!!!!

When healthy, I do like the top six six group much better...

If I had to pick between duchene and landeskog, I think I would go with Duchene. He can play wing\center and if ultimately needed and we move Krejci he could slide over to play center. Historically decent in faceoffs as well.
