I honestly think KK will turn into a good 3C for us long term. This year is the first year of him being in a bigger role and I think he took some time to adjust.

I have faith he will keep progressing.

I have faith he will keep progressing.

I think he got a lot of unwarranted crap when he was starting as a 2c. I mean he was the center for the hottest libe in the league to start the season, yes he wasn't getting in the score sheet but winning faceoffs and board battles to keep possession which he was doing didn't get him points. He was a big part of them scoring. And he was a little over his head at 2c. Your right he will be a great 3c for us and the next few years and that "awful over payment contract" according to Habs fans will actually be a very team friendly contract for the Canes
