The rumor is Alexis Lafreniere is avaliable for trade. I understand I wouldn't want to trade him either. But just Curious as a Dallas Star Fan would Radulov, Faksa and Ty Dallandra get that deal close maybe add a 2nd rounder for Alexis Lafreniere and Julien Gauthier work?
The "rumor" was immediately debunked by several legit sources. Please don't continue to try and spread this garbage.

dont think the value is there. how about georgiev, nemeth, kravstov, and a 3rd for robertson and a 2nd?

If lafreniere was on the first power play he would have at least...LEAST 12 more points. How do I know? Because Ryan strome who does basically nothing on the first power play other than exist has 12 points.

Kreider has 26
Panarin 31
Mika 24
Fox 28

When you're operating at half the production or less of literally ever single player that you're playing with...you're the weak link.

Lafreniere might struggle to start but with consistent minutes he would be terrific in the bumper spot that strome has been doing nothing with.

I’m going to lay it out real thick right now

If he gets scratched after this game we should honestly just trade him

People out here bitching and moaning about his lack of “star power” and points (some of you know who you are and are honestly stupid) need to shut up

We are doing a disservice to this kid if we think after the first period he had he deserved to be demoted and benched for the third

I f***ing guarantee had he been drafted by any other franchise in the nhl he’d be averaging around .7 to .8 points per game and that is no joke

The way we have treated him along with Kakko to some extent is beyond embarrassing

Thank you for attending my TED talk

Some of us think he's sucked but also have seethed at the NYR not being able to develop young talented forward. They're not mutually exclusive.

Some of us also feel his demotion tonight was COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT

So don't be obtuse thinking that any NYR Fan hates Lafreniere or wants to see him fail.

There are most definitely a few people in here who want him to fail lol

Next time we wonder why multiple unanimous consensus top of the draft prospects aren't producing, basically just pull this game tape.

How many times in the last 3 years do you think Jack Hughes was benched, pulled off a scoring line, not given PP time, for grinders because his team was losing a regular-season game? This short-sighted, risk-averse, old-school mentality is pervasive throughout the entire NYR org.
