I see a 50-60 point season on the horizon. He's already shown he can score all kinds of goals and his playmaking is there, just hasn't been capitalized on. With regards to PP - I think Strome will eventually be kicked off but Kakko might also be vying for that time so not certain he'll see that much more next season.
I see a PPG seasons a few years after that.

You mean to tell me that Gauthier and Chytil haven't been burying chances from Laf? Shocker. Gauthier is on fire with 5 career goals though, 3 of which have come this season I'll have you know. Chytil has 5 goals just this very season!

You'd think Laf would have at least 25 assists playing with them.

Shit, even Kreider and Zibanejad haven't been finishing his passes. Just all around bad luck in the assist column

give him strome's spot on the PP pls. Strome is the weak link there, and having a LHS across from ZIb seems like a no brainer yet genius NHL coach can't figure that out.

Gallant is never going to change PP1 mid-season with the success theyve had. Lafreniere excelling on the top line is enough of a boon to the team, they shouldnt fix what aint broken.

“You’re seeing the ice better, making more plays,” Lafrenière said on Tuesday of playing with confidence. “You’re the same player you are when you don’t have confidence, but you just make more plays. You can feel it too.”

I expect him to take it to another level when it matters most.

We've had high skill guys that disappeared in Playoff runs... I expect Laffy and some extent Kakko to excel

It can’t be understated how long he went without playing hockey. Basically from March 2020 to January 2021. That’s a LONG time to not play a single game at a pivotal development age.

Nearly a year without playing, thrown into a 56 game season sprint, and people were surprised it was taking him so long to gather his bearings?
