Yup, I just looked it up. Big turning point. This is different team after Laine return and Carrier trade, then Dobes heroics.

Habs knew what they were doing by adding him. A steady RD and does all the little things well which we desperately needed. Letting go Kova this past summer showed.

Meh...he’s ok. People are gushing over him because what we had before him was not NHL caliber yet ( or possibly ever). Any decent vet would have improved that situation

Reminds me of all the hype and excitement people had over Mike Weaver and josh Georges until the clock struck midnight.

I said it at the time and I’ll still maintain we just should have went after Broberg but whatever, at the end of the day he is helping to stabilize a D corp that was massively overrated by the public so I won’t complain
