Not too thrilled about this. Mainly because I was looking forward to a few guys in those draft slots. I liked him pre draft but he’s been pretty underwhelming, to the point Colorado prefers Ryan Johansen.

He's a winger. Johansen is a true 2C

Not really sure what to think about this trade TBH. I haven't watched Newhook much but from the few times I did watch him I was pretty underwhelmed really but I hope this works out for Hughes and the Habs but I don't really like trading these 2 picks in this years draft.

Same feeling with me. I was a big fan pre draft but his NHL sample has been meh so far.

Only playing 14 min a game with the Avs. If anybody can get the best from him, it's MSL.

I liked the Dach trade instantly. I like this one too, maybe not quite as much though. Draft picks are overrated. But... Why the f*** do I keep hearing we can't take Benson when we just traded for a guy the exact same height???
