I suppose the hope is that MSL unleashes the potential.

Not too thrilled about this. Mainly because I was looking forward to a few guys in those draft slots. I liked him pre draft but he’s been pretty underwhelming, to the point Colorado prefers Ryan Johansen.

Colorado was also going for a deep playoff run and playing a young gun instead of a veteran like Johansen is mostly normal. We have space and time to develop him fully

How is it highly unlikely? Were are not talking about a massive gap in production between the two. Newhook is by far the better skater.
