As mad as I am about this trade, it does give the Kings a helluva fearsome threesome lol..
My main problem is the same one I’ve had since 2 seasons ago… Todd will still ride Kopi and probably Phil too as they both play the game the right way!
This team will go far when they get a coach that doesn’t handicap them.

I don't think I compared him to anybody. I am looking at it from a human pshyci stand point. He obviously wasn't thrilled with either place, and his production was on par with not giving a shit for his talent. Just really think if he's a happier puppy, that will equate to more effort, and that will equate to more points, etc...
Others have compared this trade to the Carter and Richards trades.

Colorado gets a 1st, 2nd, and a minor leaguer for Newhook. And the Kings only get a 2nd for Durzi, Blake got ripped off again in that trade!

I expect Vilardi and PLD to put up very similar numbers over the next few seasons. PLD will likely play with Fiala (who is a great winger) but a very good chance Vilardi plays with Kyle Connor (who is better than Fiala), will get #1PP time and I could see him even being on the #1 line with Connor even if Schiefele stays. Vilardi emerges into a star on the Jets. Even Iafalo I think puts up 50+ pts on the Jets every year. He's a very underrated versataile winger who has a knack for scoring big goals in the playoffs. I could see Alex having great success playing on Schiefele's wing and essentially being Blake Wheelers replacement.

So where does this now leave Turcotte? Looks like he headed toward the wing at best. No matter how well he does, Lizzo is a GM and coaches favorite and he'll never get a shot. I can see him being moved at some point.

If everything goes as planned and he stays healthy, that means he’s Arvidsson’s replacement

We doing good, fam! Believe it or not we're still partying like it's 2012/2014! (we can't pick a year because it's all been a blur ever since)

Nothing better than watching the beach bunnies with big teeth bouncing gleefully on the shoreline. Should you ever want out of that frozen tomb I'll buy the first round of margaritas with those cute little, colorful umbrellas. Throw in some birria tacos and a sombrero and you've got yourself one hell of a diva experience you couldn't write as a Hollywood script!
Imagine being a multimillIonaire and Bud Light is your beer of choice.

Turcotte is a very big ? mark. He should have been NHL ready by now but for whatever reason he hasn't hit it yet and just might be a bust. I mean a player can only play in the minors so long before a decision has to be made about him.

Exactly where he currently is at... needing to get more games under his belt and being healthy.

Same place Vilardi was when he was hurt.

He's missed over a half season in each of the last 2 seasons with Ontario. What are you talking about?

If they trade Moore I think it will be under consideration to plug him into that spot.

This is the Kings making room for some of the youth that is waiver eligible. But my god we gave up a lot !

Dubois maybe is better than what we know or think . Mind boggling, cant wait to see him play before panicking more
I really see Fagemo as the only waiver snatch forward.
On D, I see Bjornfot and Moverare.
Conaghton is going to be up with the Kings probably.
He plays LD RD so he could pair with Spence who is not a risk for waivers.'
So they may start with Bjornfot and /or Moverare evaluation/shopped if they even make it through the draft deals.

Turcotte's failure to arrive is the primary reason this trade occured. Turcotte was supposed to be our 2C by this year.
At this point you are hoping to salvage a bottom 6er out of him, he has the same injury problems as Alfy so its really not a shocking outcome, Blake really blew it on this one. Hence the trade for PLD.
