lmao, so thousands of posts and threads from the summer til now... because of the way you are interpreting his BODY LANGUAGE? Do you realize how insane that sounds? It's ****ing hilarious and pathetic.
I'll let my posts stand for themselves. Obviously I don't expect everyone to agree but i gave you my honest take as a fan. Yes, I'm still salty about the whole situation and yes, I will continue to 'boo' Debrincat. Enjoy him 'cause I sure won't miss him.😘

Take the comments in context of him forcing a trade to his hometown.

He’s a selfish asshole.

Again, I don’t have a problem with players selecting their place to play. I don’t think we should really have RFA or drafts. Maybe instead each team gets entry level slots eaqch year and can sign that many new guys. Slots have different values and the higher value ones are rarer do guys have to sign for other teams or give up large amounts of money. Something like that.

But to get paid millions to half ass it because you don’t like Canada… selfish.

He half assed his way to 66 pts? He is the second best player in the league then behind only McDavid. 132 pt season would have been amazing.

I'm not sure why Wings fan are so insecure about DeBrincat being booed in Ottawa. It reminds me of when Tavares got a standing ovation in Toronto after his first game back in Long Island.

He was a depth player in Ottawa. He's clearly a better fit in Detroit, on and off the ice. Can't they just be happy about that?

I haven’t seen a single Red Wings fan who is “insecure” about that.

Imagine looking at DeBrincat's linemates and deployment in Ottawa, and being mad he didn't want to be there, and only put up 27 goals and 66 points. His talent was wasted there. He's a #1 LW, and a top 10 goal scorer in the NHL. He should be playing with your best players, and on the top PP. Be mad at your team for not utilizing him properly.

0.66pts per game when you scored 45pts in the regular season is good yes.

So basically anyone who hasn’t made the playoffs is nothing more than a “regular season performer” then? You do know it’s a team game and he’s played on terrible teams right? He’s supposed to single handedly bring Ottawa and THAT Chicago team to the playoffs

You already lost this conversation when you said he’s not good in the playoffs because “small guys are bad in the playoffs”… ignoring that the recent Conn Smythe winner is a whopping 5’9.
being 5’7 and small is completely different than being 5’9” and built like a tank two inches makes the world of a difference, just as your [Redacted] nice try Brunswick.

He’s a regular season player until proven otherwise. 5’7” wingers aren’t impactful in the playoffs,

Marchessault weighs 5 more pounds than DeBrincat does

if that's the difference between "small" and "built like a tank" then I guess tanks must not be very heavily armored nowadays.....sounds more like a car with some bulletproof glass at best

So just too reiterate, you’re saying all smaller players are just assumed bad in the playoffs until they actually play in the playoffs? This is really the hill you’re going to die on?

Marty St. Louis, Patrick Kane, Patrick Marchessault (being two inches taller and a whopping 5pds heavier apparently makes him a “tank”), Brayden Point, etc etc etc

The Cat is from Detroit, no? Or at least Michigan I believe.

Happy to see him finding success. I f***ing loved having him on the Blackhawks. What a steal of a second round pick that was. It's a shame that the team just so happened to be shit while he was playing there, for the most part.

He’s from metro Detroit
