Again, I don’t have a problem with players selecting their place to play. I don’t think we should really have RFA or drafts. Maybe instead each team gets entry level slots eaqch year and can sign that many new guys. He was a depth player in Ottawa. He's clearly a better fit in Detroit, on and off the ice. Can't they just be happy about that?

Imagine looking at DeBrincat's linemates and deployment in Ottawa, and being mad he didn't want to be there, and only put up 27 goals and 66 points. His talent was wasted there. He's a #1 LW, and a top 10 goal scorer in the NHL. He should be playing with your best players, and on the top PP. Be mad at your team for not utilizing him properly.
