How has Ceulemans been? Looking at his stats it looks like he’s done some growth. I don’t have a lot of faith in his top end upside but if he can round into a 3rd pairing guy I don’t think we’d complain about it

He's been ok. Pretty much bottom pair with OJB-H. Hasn't stuck out bad or good, seems to be holding his own. I would put him under Svozil or Clayton ranking wise, above Knazko and OJB-H.

Svozil and Clayton about the same. Mateychuk and Hunt have been top pair since Bowey has been out. I was watching Monsters OT and Tony Brown mentioned Mateychuk was seeing 25 minutes per game. Basically Werenski's role only here. He will probably be up sooner than later, unless the plan is for him to play the whole year here. I thought his defense was spotty at first, but seems to have improved lately. Offence has cooled a bit, after getting points in 14 of 16 games, has one point in his last five. He had a couple nice defensive plays last night.

It doesn't look like it. I was surprised, also, when I heard it was his first goal. Unfortunately he doesn't look like he is going to be much more than what he has shown.

I was at today's practice. Matteau participated fully in a regular jersey (not a green non-contact one), so the entire roster is now healthy enough to practice without limitations. Not sure if Matteau is cleared to play tomorrow.
