Brindley has been with TFW and LDBB. When he is on that line, he will be GB. Like OJ-BH just scored from LDBB and GB. 2nd assist of game for GB.

Jiricek is paired with Svozil. They have been good so far.

3-0 Cleveland with 13:48 left.

Malatesta jumping a guy for boarding Ceulemans. 49 from Milwaukee has been asking for it all game, so Malatesta obliged.
 
Monsters unveil their all under 6' PP. TFW with the goal Sillinger and Grimaldi assists.

And just like that, the new PP line gives up a shortie. 4-1.

And now it's 4-3. So much for the 4 goal lead.

Happy for the win. Honestly I’ve stopped caring so much about Jiricek’s offensive stats. That’s truly not what is keeping him from playing in the NHL. How was his defensive stock, his defensive skating, his outlet passes…oh…and his defense?

Send like someone is going to give Grimaldi an NHL look at some point. Fixy suck a productive AHL player…which is over producing his draft status. LDBB seems to be developing nicely.

Mateychuk with only one assist? That must be a clerical error. You need to double check that. Can’t be right 😉

Jiricek was pretty good defensively today, and made a fine defensive play to gain possession for the final rush. Luckily, for us and Jiricek, they don't review offside in the AHL. Watching the play when I got home, it looked like he was offside on his goal.

It's one thing to nod to yourself when Monstershockey said it was probably offside, it's another thing to actually see it on video. :D I guess the freeze frame at 0:14 isn't entirely conclusive as his skate is kinda on the blue line but it sure paints a picture.

Still, good for him and the Monsters. If we need to part ways with him then it's great if he can still tear it up in the AHL.
 
Not real computer literate, but here is a screenshot of the play. Jiricek is definitely offside. Nice to get away with one once in a while.

Would be kinda poetic if that’s the last thing that he did as a member of the CBJ org.

I remember that. Didn't see it, but I remember Jiricek going to the box, and then after a discussion, Svozil went in. They called it high sticking. Guy was down for a bit.

Hope the Monsters get another d-man, they are low on players, and if Jiricek goes, we are really short. Unless some guys are coming back.
 
Monsters down 3-2 after first to Rochester. Amerks have our number this season, already 3-0 against us this year. Pearson and LDBB with the goals. Gave up a shorthanded goal with about 5 seconds left.

Edit: Down 4-3 after 2. LDBB with his second of the night. He leads the team with 10 goals. Need a good 3rd period to pull this one out.
