Still a minute to go and luckily the monsters scored twice to take the lead but Johnson has been stapled to the bench since that turnover.

He has looked solid. Haven't noticed any glaring mistakes. He has looked quick and engaged. 5 points in 4 games, and a +2.

I missed the game tonight watching Columbus and Michigan.

Attending the press conference after the game. They have three guys come up and peole ask them questions. Its a fun thing they do a couple times a year. Nice to see a big crowd. There is probably triple the amount of people from the first ones we went to. Good to see.

Rough for Johnson with those turnovers. But at this point it must be so bad that he must realize they gotta go, so hopefully he can use this AHL stint to actually focus on that and figure out how to be the kind of offensive dynamo he is without making those costly mistakes.

I dont worry about Johnson. Last year he had the world juniors in the summer to get up to speed, could be part of it. He'll get his confidence back and be the Johnson we know and love.

This summer he had carefree inline roller hockey... watched some highlights. If there's an exact opposite of playing with structure & puck discipline, it looked like that was it.
