Svozil took a pretty hard hit early in the Monsters game. Left under his own power I guess, Griffins production is all over the place and all you could see was his head go by. Hard to tell if he was hit in the head, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has a concussion.

You can see the hit right at the beginning. Probably a concussion but I guess they will never tell us. Hope it won't be a long-term "upper body injury".

Gaunce wins it in OT. Meyer with 2 goals. Robinson had an assist and 2 breakaways which he missed on. Greaves had 33 saves on 35 shots. Svozil never came back. The hit on him was pretty bad, but no penalty was called.

Edit: got to hand it to the Griffin fans for getting a penalty to give the Monsters the PP in overtime. Never seen that happen before.
Sounds like Robby hasn’t skipped a beat in Cleveland.

Robinson finally scores after missing yet another breakaway. Nice sharp angle shot to tie game 12 seconds after going down 1-0.

Blankenberg scores for Monsters. Three game point streak for him. 3-2 Monsters. Ex-Jacket Keith Kinkaid is the Chicago goalie.

Sillinger and Chinakov with goals to go up 5-3. McKown just scored as I was typing this. Del Bel Belluz with another assist. Blankenberg also with another assist. 3 goals in less than a minute. 6-3.

The Sillinger goal may change to Bjork as his shot didn't look deflected, as of now it is Sillingers goal.

After spending a good chunk of their PP in their own zone, Christainsen scores with 4 seconds left on PP. 7-3 with 3 and a half left.

Today's Practice Lines
Chinakhov/Gaunce/Fix-Wolansky
Robinson/Dunne/Meyer
Matteau*/McKown/Pyythia
Malatesta/Angle/O. Sillinger
Pearson/Del Bel Belluz/Butler
*left ice halfway through, replaced by Pearson (don't read too much into not being DBB, this was a LW for LW move)

D Pairs (best guess)
Bjork/Blankenburg
Christiansen/Clayton - this is the pair I have the highest confidence that I got right
Sweezey/Ceulemans
Knazko
Svozil injured and not on ice (may have been out there REAL early - like before 10:15)

Goalies
Greaves
Cajan

Power Play units

PP1

Gaunce
Chinakhov/Meyer/Fix-Wolansky
Blankenburg

PP2
Dunne
McKown/Malatesta/Pyythia
Christiansen

Very spirited, fast-paced practice, especially at the beginning. While the Monsters have played better than the Big Club recently, Vogelhuber made sure they don't coast on their recent success.

Still no Svozil. A few Monsters already wearing neck guards. A Monsters rep was dropping stuff from her folder so I picked it up for her and it turns out she is the one that gets the fans to sit on the bench for warm up. So we got to sit ob the bench. Pretty cool.

Chinakov from Blankenberg and TFW. PP goal. Monsters entered the game 12th on the PP at 20.8 percent. Back on the PP now.

Chinakov from Blankenberg and TFW. PP goal. I don't think any of his goals in the AHL have come from closer than 15 feet. This last goal he put the only spot it had a chance to go in. Greaves has 16 saves on 18 shots. 3-2 Cleveland.

Once again Monsters with the late penalty only to give the tying goal. Under review, but there were a few tenths of a second left. So frustrating.

I’m still convinced Chinakov has star potential at the NHL level… he was put in the nhl much too early . Have to imagine a call up is coming ant time now
