I don't think he has been bad. He has made some nice plays and some bad ones. He isn't standing out good or bad. He has had a few nice chances that just didn't go in, but that happens. He has been better than his brother though, as Owen has 2 points over the same span.
 
Cole Sillinger bangs in a rebound on the rush.

I don't think he's *looked* good but he obviously needs confidence. This is only his 4th goal of the year, 1st in the AHL. So let's hope he gets some juice from this.

This game has more passion and physicality than any Jackets game I've seen in at least a year.

And just like that, Struble scores on Greaves, long point shot through a crowd.
 
Killed the penalty but gave up a goal anyway.1-1. Need 2 points in regulation to gain the playff spot alone. A win in OT just gets a tie.
 
Monsters starting to crumble. 2 straight goals,3-1 Rocket.

Edit: maybe not, Angle cuts it to 3-2 on delayed penalty.
 
He's been ok. Not noticeably great or awful in the parts of games I have watched lately. Offensively he has 2 points in his last 8 games, but that was after a 4 game point streak.

After 2 WJC and coming toward the end of the AHL season its probably safe to assume hes feeling some a wear of a long season. If the AHL didnt operate in the stone age it would be very interesting to see how much hes played

TFW scores a minute into the 3rd. 4-3. Jiricek with the primary assist. Cole Sillinger with the other assist. 2 points in the game for him.
 
TFW from Jiricek part 2. Tie game. Goal came on a 5 on 3. Still on PP. Dunne with the 2nd assist.
 
Awesome! I know Cole's played a lot but it's stuff like this that hopefully sparks his offseason and next season. Nice to see Jiricek feeding those one-timer passes too, not sure if they were super perfect but better than what we've seen most of the season on the Jackets. :D
 
Monsters lost 3-1 to Belleville while Laval won againts Syracuse. This playoff race is as tight as the tank race.

If I'm reading the schedules right, Monsters play the Griffins on Monday and then wait until Friday to play Utica and close out with two games against Rochester on the weekend. So hopefully the Jackets won't need to call up too many guys anymore - Friday is the last game against Buffalo so maybe some callups, but at least the Monsters can keep the best lineup for Monday and the weekend.

I hope next season we change to having the Cyclones as our ECHL affiliate. Having our ECHL affiliate in Michigan is not fun given the whole UM-OSU rivalry which we have now lost two years in a row for the first time since 1999-2000.

Zach Werenski, Kent Johnson and Nick Blankenburg say this is the right idea but for the wrong reason.
